Your Aetna or Coventry Medicare plan includes an over-the-counter (OTC) benefit that allows you to order approved OTC items each month. See your Evidence of Coverage for benefit details.

About your benefit The OTC benefit offers you a convenient way to get generic over-the-counter health and wellness products by mail. You order from this list of approved OTC items and we mail them directly to your home

Rules of the Program:

• You may place one order per month that is less than or equal to your approved benefit.• You’ll receive the non-brand, generic equivalent of all items. • You may not roll over your unused benefits from one month to another.• OTC items are for your use only. • It is prohibited to order OTC items for family members or friends

How to place an order

Under this benefit you are able to purchase certain generic OTC products which are covered by neither Medicare Part B or Medicare Part D. Please familiarize yourself with this list. These are items which you will have coverage for under your OTC benefit.
