Interns who are in doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology will have the opportunity to conduct psychological testing batteries, including WISC-IV, projective tests (eg: TAT), personality tests (eg: MMPI-A when appropriate), and behavioral / symptom checklists.

ALL TRAINEES must be available from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM from August 29, 2016 through September 2, 2016 for staff training.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements: Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Doctoral program in Clinical, Counseling, or School

Psychology and be approved by their program to be on internship placement. Strong clinical service coordination skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and be comfortable collaborating

with a range of professionals from other fields. Strong applicants will have: Prior experience delivering evidence-based interventions in a school-based setting.

Compensation No compensation is provided for this training position. Accreditation Please note that while this internship opportunity is designed to meet standards for Internship in a Health Service Setting as defined by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists, this internship is not approved by the APA Commission on Accreditation. The following criteria are met during this internship experience.

This internship is a defined, organized training program A licensed psychologist is responsible for the integrity and quality of this program There are two or more licensed psychologists on the staff as supervisors. Training is designed at the post-practicum level Supervision is conducted by a licensed professional who carried full legal and clinical responsibility

for cases being supervised. At least half of the hours of supervision is delivered by one or more psychologists This program provides training in a range of approaches to assessment and intervention. At least 25% of intern time is in direct contact with clients seeking assessment or treatment Training includes supervision at a minimum ratio of one hour of acceptable supervision per sixteen

hours of work. At least four hours per week of structured activities are provided such as case conferences, seminars

on clinical issues, group supervision, and additional individual supervision. The cohort of interns will be two or greater per year. Trainees retain the title Psychology Intern throughout the training period The training program has a written statement describing goals and content of the program and

expectations for quantity and quality of trainee’s work.
