There are three digital TV formats 480p digital format that has a resolution of 480 X

720 lines of resolution, same as standard TV 720p is a HDTV signal with 720 X 1280 lines of

resolution. Most broadcaster use this resolution 1080p is termed complete HDTV with 1080 X

1920 lines of resolution, used in Blue Ray and X-Box systems.
