• Started as an instrumentation service company in 1978 called Copas Industrial Instruments
• Developed a strong focus on the HCN monitoring in the gold mining industry which remains today
• 1992 - Was the first company to bring in and support the MonoTox single gas detector to Australia
• 1999 – GasTech Australia was registered and fully owned by Copas
• 2000 – Started manufacturing it’s own range of fixed gas detectors and opened NSW office
• 2010 – outgrew Osborne Park office and moved into 1,400m2 purpose built service and manufacturing facility
