Confirmation Confirmation 2013 Pictures and Certificates Confirmation 2013 pictures and certificates will be available for pick-up on Sunday, November 24th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Bookstore. Candidates Session and Mass A Candidates Session will be held on Sunday, November 24th at 9:45 AM in the Parish Hall. Candidates will attend the 12:00 PM Mass afterwards. Please bring a Bible, notebook, favorite pen, and rosary. Thanksgiving Aluminum Cans Recycling Parishioners are asked to recycle aluminum drink cans and canned goods over the Thanksgiving holiday. Confirmation candidates have set up blue recycling bins in the Parish Hall or Parish Center for drop-offs during normal business hours. After hours may be dropped off in the caged area outside of the Parish Center. Fall Clothing and Shoes Drive Fall is here. Instead of packing the summer clothes and shoes, consider donating them. Clear out your closets and storage of extra gently worn and clean clothes and shoes (extra need for jeans, shirts, socks). The Confirmation Peer Leaders will be collecting summer and fall items during the month of November. Items may be deposited in the green recycling bin located next to the bbq pit/soccer field. All donations benefit Open Door Ministries in Houston.

Los artículos pueden ser depositados en el contenedor de reciclaje verde situado al lado de la parrilla de asados en el campo de fútbol. Faith Formation Fundraiser Lunch

Faith Formation will be selling Vietnamese lunch plates on Sunday, November 17 from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM in the Parish Hall. Plates include chicken, fried rice, egg roll and come with a drink and dessert for $7 a plate. Please support our Faith Formation program.

OLMC School News OLMC School Honors Veterans A special presentation was held this past Monday, Veterans Day, in honor of the many veterans of OLMC School and Church, including the many, many family members of OLMC students who have or currently serve in our United States armed forces. Students decorated in a patriotic theme and sang patriotic song favorites. The veterans who were present were introduced and recognized by all in attendance. OLMC students, staff, and community are very proud of our veterans who have or presently serve. Students at OLMC school are taught to honor the sacrifices that these individuals have and are currently making to protect the lives of others. To all of our veterans, OLMC School says "thank you for your service!" Cristo Rey Builds the Kingdom at OLMC This past week 17 high school students from Cristo Rey Jesuit came to OLMC Church and School to complete service work as a part of their Building the Kingdom service program. Cristo Rey students helped our school and church with jobs including cleaning, painting, moving furniture, and assisting teachers with preparing learning materials. OLMC school greatly appreciates the efforts and contributions that Cristo Rey Jesuit students provide to our OLMC Catholic Community: Church and School! Noticias de la Escuela OLMC

La Escuela OLMC rinde homenaje a los Veteranos Una presentación especial se llevó a cabo el pasado lunes, Día de los Veteranos, en honor a los muchos veteranos de la Escuela OLMC y de la Iglesia, incluyendo los muchos, muchos miembros de la familia de los estudiantes de OLMC que tienen familiares que actualmente sirven a nuestras fuerzas armadas

estadounidenses. Los estudiantes decoraron todo con temas patrióticos y cantaron las canciones patrióticas favoritas. Los veteranos que estuvieron presentes fueron presentados a la comunidad la cual les agradeció públicamente. Los estudiantes de OLMC, el personal y la comunidad en general están muy orgullosos de nuestros veteranos pasados y actuales. A los estudiantes de la escuela NSMC se les enseña a honrar los sacrificios que estas personas han hecho y que

actualmente están haciendo para proteger la vida de los demás. A todos nuestros veteranos, la escuela NSMC les dice: "Gracias por su servicio!" Cristo Rey construye el Reino en OLMC La semana pasada 17 estudiantes de la secundaria Cristo Rey Jesuita vinieron a la escuela OLMC y a la iglesia para completar horas de trabajo social como parte de su programa de servicios de construcción del Reino. Los estudiantes de Cristo Rey ayudaron a nuestra escuela y la iglesia con oficios variados como la limpieza, la pintura, el traslado de muebles, y ayudaron a los maestros a preparar materiales de aprendizaje. La escuela OLMC valora altamente los esfuerzos y contribuciones que los estudiantes de Cristo Rey Jesuita están haciendo por nuestra comunidad católica OLMC en la escuela y en la Iglesia!
