Our parish would like to invite you and anyone you know who is not Catholic to come and learn about the Faith. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is under the direction of Fr. Gerry, our pastor, and coordinated by Julia Dodson. The RCIA is the principle means of the Church to bring adults who are not Catholic and Adult Catholics who have not fully received the sacraments, into communion with Jesus through the Church. We also invite those who are already Catholic, and would like to learn more about their faith to join us as well. As a practicing Catholic, you may also want to consider acting as a sponsor and mentor. More importantly, the RCIA is a process of conversion (a process of changing one’s heart) and coming close to the heart of Our Lord. Our sessions begin: Date: Wednesday, September 6th Time: 6pm to 8:30pm Place: McFarland Room of Bevan Hall At our first session, members of our team will help you with registration and answer any questions you may have about the program. Please pick up a flyer , available in the vestibule of the church, which you may find helpful in inviting friends or relatives to come. It really is a painless way to evangelize and a wonderful way to build up the Kingdom of God.

See you there!

QUOTE of the DAY “Christian prayer is meant to be profoundly whole — body and soul, affection and thought, heart and understanding. Such prayer leads to courage, the movement toward reconciliation with God, the beginning of a pilgrimage to our Father’s house.”

— Dr. Anthony Lillies, Fire from Above: Christian Contemplation and Mystical Wisdom
