Perhaps you have a holy card of the crucifixion, or simply a small crucifix; carry this with you – keep it visible as a reminder to you of how much God loves you. If you can, join us for the celebration of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at St. Luke on Thursday evening at 7pm. the Commemoration of the Passion of the Lord at 3pm. at OLH or 7pm. at St. Luke on Friday; and the Easter Vigil at 8pm. at OLH on Saturday. LITURGY & WORSHIP
WELCOME TO OUR LADY OF HOPE! We welcome all
newcomers to our church, and to all those who are visiting with us
today, we hope you enjoy your time united in faith and worship with
us. Our Parish is united with St. Luke Church in Edgemere as part of a
Pastorate in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. If you would like to join
our family of faith by registering, please stop by the sacristy after Mass
or give us a call at the Parish offices during the week.
If you would like to share your faith with your child in the waters of
Baptism at Our Lady of Hope, please contact the Parish Office for
information on the preparation process. We are happy to celebrate this
Sacrament of faith at any Mass or on the First Saturdays of each month.

Welcome through the waters of Baptism : Kareron Allen Harris, son of Manuel Lamonte Harris and Ashley Nicole Bonnell. Couples who are looking to celebrate the Sacrament of Matrimony
should contact a priest or deacon at least six (6) months prior to a
desired wedding date. Marriage preparation is a joyful to time plan for
the success of your life of love together.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available every
Saturday from 3 to 3:45pm, prior to the 4pm Mass. Also, you can
arrange an appointment with one of the priests at any time during the
week, at your convenience.

Good Friday Ecumenical Walk with the Cross and Stations: As we have done in previous years, St. Luke’s and Our Lady of Hope will
be joining with other churches in our community to carry the Cross through Edgemere on Good Friday. The walk will leave Hughes Memorial Presbyterian Church on Sparrows Point Rd at 11:30am. and end at St. Luke’s about noon, at which time we will
say the Stations of the Cross. All are invited to attend. You do not have to participate in the walk if you are not able. Just arrive at St. Luke’s at 11:50am. for Stations.

ACCOMPANIMENT & FAITH FORMATIONOUR LADY OF HOPE/ST.LUKE SCHOOL
We are blest to host the only Catholic Elementary School in the
Dundalk area here at Our Lady of Hope. OLH/SLS serves our
families with children in grades Pre-K3 through 8th, and we
have a rich tradition of Catholic education. For more

Registration Open Now! OLH /SLS is now accepting
registrations for the 2018-2019 school year. It is not too late to

CONGRATULATIONS
Amia Dvorak (Gr.8) Josh Smoot (Gr.8) and Peyton
Strzegowski (Gr.7) were notified that their posters were Amia
Dvorak (Gr.8), Josh Smoot(Gr.8) among the winners in the
Anti-Drug Poster Contest sponsored by Baltimore County
State’s Attorney Scott D. Shellenberger, Amia placed second
and will receive an award of $350 and have her artwork
reproduced and include in the 2019 Ant-Drug annual calender.
Josh and Peyton will receive $200 each and have their artwork
featured in a collage. The students will be honored at a special
awards ceremony in April. Congratulations Amia, Josh and
Peyton! Congratulations to Greg Majerowicz (Gr.8) who has
qualified to compete in the state level competition of the
National Geographic Bee! Congratulations to Alex Wdzieczny
(Gr. 4) who was the first place winner of the Dundalk Knights
of Columbus Catholic Bee. Thank you to the 166
individuals/families who registered for OLH/SLS. Your
participation raised $2061.98.

PARISH YOUTH FAITH FORMATION
Our Parish Religious Education programs is open to all parishioners
with children, ages 5 through 14. If you would like to share your faith
with your youngsters through our programs,
please call Jon Gerstmyer, our Director of Disciple Formation, at 410-

If you have a child who is looking forward to receiving their First
Reconciliation/First Communion next year, or who is getting ready for
the Sacrament of Confirmation, now is the time to start preparing. Call
Jon for information on our Sacramental preparation process.

Parents in a Sacramental Prep Year: If your child(ren) is ready to
receive their First Eucharist, but you missed the parent meeting, please

Vacation Bible School is coming this Summer! If you are in
Kindergarten through Fifth grade next school year? Consider joining

SCRIPTURE STUDIES
We have two opportunities for Bible Study here in our Parishes. One
meets on Wednesday mornings from 11am to noon in the Parish Office
at Our Lady of Hope; and the other meets on Wednesday evenings
from 6:30 to 8:30pm at St. Luke’s Library. All are welcome, and you
need not be an expert to join – just bring a Bible and your questions.
The Parish office will be Closed on Monday, April 2, 2018 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 3rd at 8:30am.
OUTREACH & SERVICE Our St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry serves our
neighbors in need by providing food supplies to those who
have needs. Every First and Third Tuesdays, from 10am
to noon, we share the donated resources of our Parish
family with the less fortunate. We can always use your
donations of mac & cheese, soups, Jelly & peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauces, coffee, tea , Cereal. The Knights of Columbus are a Catholic organization of
men seeking to grow in holiness and to support one
another and the good works of the Church. The
Bethlehem Council serves our Parishes and community
and is located at 7401 Bay Front Road in
Edgemere. All me, aged 18 and up, are
invited to be members of this wonderful
fraternal organization. 3rd Monthly

The March Poor Box will be for the Catholic Home Mission Appeal (CHMA). Home mission dioceses are those dioceses in the US and its territories that cannot provide basic pastoral services to Catholics without help. Basic services include Mass and the sacraments, religious education, and ministry training.
Our Lady of Hope and St. Luke are able to receive your

The 2018 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal “Together in Mission” The 2018 Archbishops Annual Appeal is underway at Our
Lady of Hope. Our goal this year is $28,900. With
$29,770. pledged by 149 donors, we are at 103% of our
