We have a series of events planned for you today to help you be-come more familiar with our faculty, staff, students, facilities and programs. We are delighted to help you learn more about our School of Music. If you have any questions, please ask.

While listening to auditions, we will be evaluating potential in addition to current abilities. Our goal is for you to have a valua-ble, positive audition experience.

We wish you the best of luck! Thanks so much for coming to WSU today. Our hope is that you will make WSU your first choice as you prepare for a life in music.

By Airplane: The Pullman/Moscow Airport is 2 miles from campus. You can rent a car at the airport or request a taxi. Spokane International Airport is served by most airlines and is 72 miles north of Pullman. Transportation from Spokane can be arranged through Link Transportation (800) 359-4541.

By Bus: Major bus routes pass through Pullman. The bus stop is located downtown, approximately 2 miles from campus.

By Car: Driving time from Seattle is approximately 5 hours, from Spokane, 1 1/2 hours, and from Portland, 6 hours.

Entering Pullman on Highway 270 from Colfax/Spokane: At the bottom on the hill (Highway 270/Davis Way), turn left onto Grand Avenue. Proceed on Grand to the second stoplight (Stadium Way). Turn right on Stadium Way and proceed to the second stoplight (Colorado Street). Turn right on Colorado and proceed to the first stop sign. Turn left on B Street. You will see Kimbrough Hall in front of you (it has a slanted roof). You cannot drive up to Kimbrough.

Parking on campus can be tricky. Be careful to park only in lots that are free on weekends (marked Green, Yellow, Red or Blue). Some lots, even though the color is correct, indicate that parking passes are required 24 hours a day; do not park in these lots.

Central Campus Parking is available 24 hours a day in the Holland Library Parking Garage and located close to Kimbrough Music Building in the center of campus. To access the tunnel to the garage, turn off Stadium Way onto Colorado Street. The tunnel entrance is on the left, just past the Gyms and before you go up the hill. The garage is available 24 hours a day on a payment basis.
