    OSPC Setup Post Installation

    Once you have successfully installed the OSPC and used WebLM to license it, you arethen ready to proceed with the GUI set up. This setup can be modified at anytime. First

    you need to set up the Key Block which contains the feature assignments for the OSPC.

    Access ASA to see what buttons are assigned where.

    1. From ASA type change attendant 1 and go to page 3. Note feature assignmentsbelow. The abbreviated dial buttons are for specific individuals and also for

    transfer into voicemail.

    2. Go to the next page (page 4) of this form to verify there is a normal, directory andcall-display buttons.

    3. Launch the OSPC application, note the arrowed fields that indicate importantinformation. Click Log in.

    4. From the tool bar at the top of the application, click on Edit, Work Profiles,OSPC, click on select. You should then be in a window as shown below.

    The arrow points out the tool bar we will be working from.

    5. Note the bubbles below for what icons to click to program the feature buttons onthe attendant position. We will map each key from let to the Key Block on the

    right. So Key1 is related to button 1 on page 3 of the attendant form.

    7. Now click on Work Profile and then save. You will need to login and logoutof the OSPC to have the changes take affect.

    8. You can now log back into the OSPC and configure your BLF (busy lamp field)and VIP view as required. From the tool bar at the top of the application clickon edit, work profiles, OSPC, click Select.

    9. Now click on edit, busy display and you will see the screen below. Enter yourextension ranges and under Matrix indicate how many call numbers to view andalso the number of columns you want to see too.

    10.Next click on the VIP View button and configure tabs and extensions you wish tobe able to monitor. The extensions you monitor do not have to be in a sequential

    order. When finished with the VIP view close the containers/boxes and save yourchanges. You will again need to logout of the OSPC to make the changes

    permanent.

    11.Below is one view of the OSPC and what it could look like based on what theattendant finds most useful.

    Type change features and go to page 5 and be sure the fields below are

    populated. See below.

    Type add hunt 5 and press enter. See required entries below. We have given the

    hunt group a meaningful name, enter an unassigned extension for the Group

    Extension, Group-Type if using Expert Agent should have ead-xxx, I have

    chosen ead-mia. Say yes to ACD, Queue and Vector. Press next page.

    On page 2 do the following, select Skill as y and then press enter.

    Type add agent xxxx and fill out the screen below as shown. Required fields

    are the password field shown below, the rest is optional. Press next page

    Assign the skill you created above (i.e. hunt group 5) and then enter a Skill Level

    (SL) 1 is good enough and press enter.

    Type add abbr g 5 and now we will assign speed dial buttons for the attendantto use to login and logout of the Attendant Split. Dial Code 11 contains the login

    feature access code then the Agent-ID and the password assigned to the agent.

    Dial Code 12 just contains the FAC for logout. Press enter when finished.

    Type change console-parameters and go to page 2. Assign the group list you

    created in the previous step.

    Type change attendant 1 and go to page 3. Make the feature assignments as

    shown below and press enter. Note button 8 and 9 are the login and logout.

    On buttons 10-12 these are the standard ACD features that should be assigned to

    each attendant.

    TROUBLESHOOTING THE OSPC

    If you notice that in the main login screen of the OSPC application, that there is ared ITB box as well as a red ABS button, it means the services did not start

    after a PC reboot and you need to manually start them. Go to Settings,

    Administrative Tools, Services and look for the Services below and be sure theyare started. If not, manually start them. Logout of the OSPC completely and

    re-login.
