Family Notes 3 genera, 16-36 species. Herbs with upright aerial or horizontal subterranean, dichotomously branched stems; scales absent. Leaves alternate, large, one or more times pinnate, either dimorphic, or some leaves differentiated into fertile and sterile segments. Sporangia large and stalked.
