MUSIC NOTES Greg Bruce, Minister of Music

Music has become a very important part of our worship service. We have become so used to having high quality music in our service that we could not imagine a Sunday without singers or instrumentalists. With that expectation comes countless hours of rehearsal and planning on the part of all choir members, instrumentalists, worship leaders, and church leadership. As part of that hard work, please pray for the music department and help us make everything we do a successful venture that is truly a celebration of what God has done for us.

There are many way you can be involved in the music ministry here at Fern Creek Baptist Church: If you would like to join the adult choir or if you are already an adult choir

member, our choir retreat is January 16th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Janu-ary 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Come join us as we prepare for our Easter Season.

The children’s choirs are looking for additional workers and for a couple of people who can play piano. Please be in prayer for this and think about volunteering an hour on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The youth choir could use some additional workers as well. We are in need of snack supper volunteers and people to assist with rehearsal. This takes place Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Many things to think about and pray about, but think of the difference you can make by being a participant in the worship service. It could truly make a difference in someone’s life. Look forward to seeing you involved in the music programs at Fern Creek Baptist Church.
