OUTREACH ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED BY IBA KARACHI IN DIFFERENT DISTRICTS OF

GILGIT BALTISTAN

From October 1 to 8, 2018

IBA Karachi organized outreach activities in the Gilgit Baltistan region specifically remote areas like;

Skardu, Shigar, Astore, Ghizer, Gilgit and Hunza. Whereby IBA team conducted information, awareness

and career counseling sessions with the aim to encourage talented & deserving students of HSSC Level-

I and HSSC Level-II for the higher studies and to brief them about scholarship opportunity given by IBA

Karachi and Ihsan Trust in the form of IBA Ihsan Trust National Talent Hunt Program- Batch 2019.

We are thankful to all principals, teachers & other admin staff of respective colleges who supported

the cause and encouraged student’s participation during the information sessions. We are pleased to

share that we have successfully organized 12 information & awareness sessions in 6 districts whereby

1120 students attended sessions.

The main objective of outreach activities was to create awareness about the opportunity available to

the talented and deserving students of HSSC Level-I, and HSSC Level-II, who are facing financial

constraints. IBA team (Umesh Kumar & Zahoor Ahmed) conducted information & awareness sessions

in colleges and gave them a brief introduction about the IBA Karachi and IBA-IT National Talent Hunt

Selection Process,

Facilities available and

Career growth & Opportunities for the students through the IBA-IT National Talent Hunt

Program –Batch 2019.

We have also shared success stories of our existing students who are currently enrolled in different

programs at IBA Karachi to motivate the participants.
