About Kevin Boyd

Kevin Boyd graduated from Georgia Southern in 1995 with a Bachelors in Administration and Accounting.

After several years as a bookkeeper Kevin joined Coca-Cola Enterprises in 1999 as a Financial Analyst.

Moving up through the ranks within the company, Kevin has recently been promoted to a Senior Level Financial Services manager – supporting Regional Asset Managers in prestige properties, universities and new sales for large accounts, such as major league sports arenas, and national level large accounts.

What drove your career decisions? Desired an accounting degree due to

company's needs for financial accounting and book keepers.

Felt it would be a stable environment with a constant and steady stream of work.

Quickly learned that book keeping and transactional accounting was not the desired path.

Wanted more supporting role for driving business, being a part of making decisions that impacted the overall organization.

Relationship building skills. Dealing with relationships and account managers is key.

Trust with employees, trust allows them to accept and carry out your decisions.

Being extroverted – typical accountants are introverts, needed to learn to be outgoing to form working relations.
