- To insure that the veterinary profession:
- Promotes the well being of society and animals
- Promotes animal health through the application of preventive medicine, diagnosticcapabilities, disease control methods and treatments of animal disease and plagues
- Participates in public health programs through health education, prevention of zoonses, food hygiene and food safety
-Promotes economically sustainable animal production practices
- Participates in the adoption of measures to preserve natural resources and theenvironment
