Dr. Bhimrao Ramaji Ambedkar played a pivotal role as the father of Indian Constuon which is guiding force of the democrac polity and governance in India. He is the maker of modern India whose role as the Chairman of Draing Commiee of Indian Constuon and first law minister of Independent India, his work is always remembered in the annals of the history of this great naon. An erudite scholar, a great humanist, person with rare giganc versale eminence, had remedies for the fundamental problems that India is confronng today and his views and thoughts about Indian society were emanated through deep understanding of Indian Polity, cultures and economic system. Dr. Ambedkar, basically is a great humanist, epoch maker, democrat, socialist and statesman believed in bloodless revoluon through the parliamentary democracy.

His role as a man who carved and feudalisc medieval society into a modern, secular and democrac country is really remarkable. He is an architect of modern India, while asserng rights for the millions of downtrodden and depressed classes he was confronted with values which upheld the discriminatory varnashrama and caste system and also had wrath of communal forces which were prevenng percolaon of democrac ethos among the suppressed masses of India. He profounded theories which interpreted Indian social system. His views on caste system, Socio‐polical and economic system have greater relevance in the present scenario which need a systemac and scienfic reassessment. In view of this, Naonal Seminar on the theme on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Role in Naon Building proposes to revisit, introspect Ambedkar thoughts and vision, when the present world is beset with intolerance, communal heartedness, conflict, religion fanacism, it is very apt therefore to introspect and visualize the naon of reformaon for the establishment of creang a beer world by subjecng the contemporary world to re‐evaluaon with the hope of bringing about a harmonious social order. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's thoughts and principles are relevant in this regard to safeguard the rights of people to live harmoniously where the human freedom is appreciated and upheld. The seminar also aims at contemplang on the raonale put forth by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, which impacted human life in the contemporary sociees.
