Introduction :

➢ Beneficiaries under Ambedkar Development Corporation are selected by

committees chaired by respective MLA's/SWD Minister/Chairman. District

Managers will scrutinize the selected applicants and forward to jurisdictional

banks for sanction of loans.

Problems :

➢ The beneficiary has to move and follow the file at MLA office, district office,bank and head office to know the status and sanction.

➢ Repeated visits to various offices both harass the beneficiary and delay theprocess of delivery and gives scope for discretion.

➢ Since Aadhar of beneficiary is non mandatory, verification of applicantsagainst double benefit is compromised at times.

➢ Unspent amount at district office bank accounts compound problem of nonutilization and reconciliation.

➢ Multiple bank accounts, cheque books at district level give scope for possiblemisuse.

➢ Real time data on pending/rejected loans at bank level is not available to followin SLBC committee.
