ORGANIC FERTILIZER PRODUCTION,
PROCESSING FACTORY FROM ORGANIC WASTE
INTRODUCTION
● The
factory’s
operation is an
event to mark
partnership
between
Belgian and
Vietnam in
domestic waste
treatment.
●Menart.sprl’s
waste
treatment
techonology
line – Belgian
set up in Phu
Ly city,
Hanam and
Quy Nhon,
Binh Dinh
● This is modern line,
linked with input which is
domestic waste separated
at source in developed
countries like Belgian, EU.
● With feature of domestic
waste which is not
separated at source, all of
waste mixed and covered
by nylon and tropical
climate, so the line is not
exploited effectively in
waste treatment as
desired. At those
factories, performance is
only from 20% to 30%.
● Improving, providing some technical devices to match with waste feature in Ha Tinh.
● Waste treatment technology of Binh Phuoc company is local production technology, matches with unseparated waste at source in Vietnam.
INVESTMENT SCALE
● Factory’s capacity: improved from 120 tons/day to 200
tons/day and in the future, when amount of waste increases, it
should be invested other module to raise capacity.
● Area usage: 69,485 m2, detail as follows:
+ Factory area: 13,782 m2.
+ Ground area: 6,986 m2.
+ Inner road area: 12,521 m2.
+ Sanitary landfill: 5,958 m2.
+ Green area: 30,238m2, zoning buffer by green place to create
landscape and regional climate account for more 40% area of
factory.

Operation process
● Waste transported to factory
and then weighed to count
amount, after that transferred to
separated house before
composting, at this step waste
sprayed chemical, then
separated into many parts in
separation line before
composting.
● Organic waste transported to
heat composting house, then
transferred to mature
composting house, finally it
moved to separation housing
after composting to produce
organic fertilizer used for plant.
EFFECTIVENESS
● Recycled waste like plastic, paper,
packing packaged and sold to
recycling factory. Rest of waste
transported to incinerator, part of
ash and construction waste used to
produce brick and other buried.
● Ratio of recycled waste is 97%,
ratio of bury is 3%.
