GETTING STARTEDYour Home Page

1 Click on PROGRAMS and select Pearson Chemistry. You will be taken to the Table of Contents.

2 Manage your classes, assignments, and reports at-a-glance by clicking on CLASSES.

3 Access your Pearson eText by selecting eText.

Classroom Management Resources

1 Click on CLASSES to manage your classes, assignments, and reports at-a-glance.

2 Use the links under the name of each class to manage assignments, the calendar, students and groups, and class settings.

3 Select Assignments to view an assignment’s status for the class. You can make edits to the assignment and preview the assignment on the right.

4 Select Calendar to view all class assignments by week or by month. You can auto schedule lesson plans for the entire year, and block days out in advance!

5 Select Discuss to begin a discussion topic.

6 Select Students & Groups to view student information, add students, and view assignments.

GETTING STARTEDChapter Navigation

1 Navigate to the Table of Contents by selecting PROGRAMS and then selecting Pearson Chemistry.

3 Resources are available to support each chapter. Select the Chapter-Level Activities.

2 Select Chapter 12 to pull up all of your Teacher Resources and activities.

4 Chapter-Level Resources include two levels of math tutorials, concepts in action, directed virtual labs, problem sets, videos, and vocabulary flash cards. Use the green arrow on the upper left corner to return to all chapter resources.

5 Select Lesson 12.2 Chemical Calculations. This lesson has several interactive tutorials and a powerpoint presentation.

6 Printable Lesson Plans can be found by selecting the Teacher Resources next to the bold T.
