The NYM will host a special Peace Playground on MLK Day, which is a kids’ program in Clarkston that seeks to practice peacemaking through play, song and creative forms of expression. We will meet at Northlake at 12:00noon, to re-turn by 4:00pm.

Pray for good results from Felipe Baltzar’s eye surgery on Jan 27.
Phil & Nancy Coleman: for the family of Becky Spann Williams of Knoxville, who died suddenly of cardiac arrest. She was the daughter of friends of the Coleman's and Neal's from Laurel Church of Christ.
Brian Ikeda’s father passed away on Jan 16 at the age of 94. Arrangements are pending at this time.
Mary Maddox: Thank you for the prayers, cards, phone calls, & hugs in re-sponse to the death of her brother. These expressions of sympathy meant a lot, & showed her family the love the church has for her.
Sandee Phillips mother Gladys Carey passed away on Jan 11. The funeral was held on January 13 in Tennessee.
Linda Stoddard continues to have health issues and is recuperating from the flu.
James H. Sullivan, husband of Sandy Williams' sister Glenda Sullivan, passed away on January 13 at the age of 79 after battling ALS for 6 years. His funeral will held on Sat, Jan 17 in Jacksonville, FL.
Teresa Sussman’s brother-in-law James Smith is suffering from severe di-gestive system issues, & so far tests have been inconclusive.

Important Call For Toilet Paper Donations - This time of year there is a greater demand for donated items to the NET Food Pantry. Please remember our unemployed and impoverished neighbors in need, and place your donations in the bin provided downstairs to meet our commitment to supply the demands of the NET Food Pantry.
Process for Canceling Services at Northlake Due to Hazardous Weather - Please go to www.northlake.org to view the procedure for alerting the congrega-tion should the Northlake building be closed due to inclement weather.
