ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERYONE

Our Relaxed Screenings and Performances are designed for audience members with a wide range of needs, for those on the autistic spectrum or anyone who feels they would benefit from a more relaxed theatre and cinema environment.

For Relaxed Screenings the film soundtrack volume is reduced and low lights are left on. It is fine for audience members to make noise or move around. Keep an eye out for these screenings marked on our website and film brochures.

RELAXED SCREENINGS AND PERFORMANCES

This group meets monthly for a chat and a cup of tea, followed by a guided session with works of art using audio and tactile resources. We also invite local artists and guest speakers in to talk about their work. To find out more call 01635 582666 or email [email protected]

SCHOOLS

This is an incredible chance for young dancers to work with Luke Brown, an exciting emerging choreographer, at a hugely subsidised price. Together you’ll create a piece to be performed on the Corn Exchange main stage before Luke Brown’s professional show – For You I Long the Longest.

Learn, explore and create through dance. A professional dance practitioner will visit your school to work with a pupil group of your choice to teach a short routine and set your group a choreography challenge suited to their experience. Their responses to this challenge will make up the performance at the Corn Exchange on Thursday 3 November.
