Additional inter-charactertimeout
1 ms 0 ms to 100 msThe Modbus specification requires that theindividual characters of a serial Modbus RTUtelegram have to be transmitted successivelywith a maximum character gap of 1.5 charactertimes (or max. 750 μs for Baud rates >19 200bit/s). Longer silent intervals between the char-acters are interpreted as telegram end.A longer gap between the characters can betolerated with this parameter. Note that thisalso causes longer cycle times. If at least one SICAM P50 device is connected tothe bus, at least the following values have to beset for additional inter-character timeout:1200 bit/s, 2400 bit/s: 04800 bit/s, 9600 bit/s: 219 200 bit/s: 338 400 bit/s: 457 600 bit/s, 115 200 bit/s: 6
