This training is for Airport employers currently operating at SFO

We will review new or updated Airport resources that can support your business experience at the airport. These resources are meant to make your SFO operations more efficient, and your employees safer and more secure.

This training has been developed with input from Airport employers, employees, and Union partners.

Facial coverings must be worn by all employees.

Do not touch your face with unwashed hands or with gloves.

Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, or cough/sneeze into your elbow/sleeve.

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces daily.

Constantly observe your work distances in relation to others. Always maintain a minimum six feet of separation between individuals.

SFO and Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care have partnered to bring COVID-19 Rapid Testing on-site for airport employees. Results from the Abbott ID NOW™ Molecular Test are available on-site within 15 minutes.• Three payment options for employers and employees:

• Employees use health insurance to pay for the test • Employees pay for testing • Employers can enter into an agreement with Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care to pay for testing

for employees.

COVID-19 Reporting Procedures Employer Reporting and Response Airport employers are required to notify SFO immediately if one of their employees tests positive for COVID-19.

This process begins by calling the Airport Duty Managers at (650) 821-5222

Conduct contact tracing, as defined by public health authorities. Send employees home to quarantine if they have had close contact with persons who tested positive for COVID-19.

Immediately have private lease spaces properly disinfected.

Track and monitor the health of all employees that had incidental contact with the infected person for 14 days.

SFO Reporting and Response SFO is not asking for employee identities in the reporting process.

After being notified, SFO can support with the cleaning of public spaces and/or biometric touchpoint records.

BART Discount Card - Badged SFO employees or Team SFO Discount Pass holders are eligible for a reduction of $4.55 on BART for each trip to and from the airport. If you are an employee but do not have an Airport badge, contact our center to obtain a Team SFO Discount Pass.

SFO Parking Discount – All airport employees are eligible to receive a discounted employee parking rate of $7/day at the Domestic Garage or International Garage A/G. Drive to a cashier booth with your parking ticket and valid SFO badge or Team SFO Discount Pass to receive discount. Coupons are no longer required.

Transportation Navigation Services – Our team can help new or returning employees explore the cheapest and fastest ways to commute to the airport.

Free Financial Planning- Employees of all companies can meet with a certified financial coach for free anytime. We also offer free tax prep services virtually and in-person.

Citizenship Workshops – Save up to $700 on your citizenship application cost and get free legal counsel. Apply for U.S. Citizenship through a free workshops hosted by SFO and the SF Pathways to Citizenship Initiative.

Childcare Discount - Palcare offers discounted childcare with priority admission for airport employees. Based on income, families may be eligible for assistance in paying tuition.

SFO Safety and Security Information – Quality Standards Program (QSP) - Learn about your rights at the workplace to make sure your employers are complying with the required standards safety, security, compensation, and benefits.

Expanded Food Discounts and Access - Badged employees currently receive 10-25% discount on meals that are available for purchases made at SFO concessions.

Employee Retraining and Career Advancement Support - Employees have expressed interest in growing their careers at SFO. We want to work with employers to craft career lattices and promote employee growth at SFO, which also meeting employers changing needs.

Training for Airport Employees Returning to SFO- SFO’s Business and Career Center is providing a training like this one to returning employees, in an effort to provide uniform information to everyone on-site and boost employee and passenger health and safety. You’ll receive a follow-up communication about this. Our team can provide special sessions for your returning employees in multiple languages, or make the information available on-demand.
