After much discussion among the board , we’ve decided to wait until information about Phase 3 is announced to open the gallery. When we open, we want everyone to feel safe. Anne Buck is an award-winning watercolorist who loves the luminosity and translucence of watercolor.

Design and creativity have been infused in her education with a bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design and a master’s degree in Biology Education. In her working career she used her design skills as

a Conservationist for Erosion and Sediment Control, office manager and draftsman for Jennifer Thompson Architects, and a science teacher for Cape Henlopen School District. She studied watercolor with nationally

recognized artists such as Mary Whyte, Charles Reid, and Janet Rogers.

Anne is a member of the International Watercolor Society, Delaware Watercolor Society, the Rehoboth Art League, and is Past President & currently the Education Director of the Milton Art Guild all in Delaware. Her

You've maybe heard of Zentangle or Zendoodle, but now we have Zoomdoodle!

Zoomdoodle is instruction done online using Zoom. (Don't worry, it's easy to get online. we will

help you)

Doodling is a way to relax while doing something creative. Warning: It's very addictive!

You’ll learn at minimum, three (3) "doodles" during each session. Later, put your

doodles together to create something like what you see below. It all starts with a single line.

All you need is a fine line marker (micron markers and fine sharpies work fine) and some paper, also have something to make circles - canned food, jar tops, glasses, etc. work just

fine.

to reserve a happy hour. We will contact you to arrange time & day.

Heard of Zentangle or Zendoodle? ZoomDoodle combines the relaxing but creative aspects of both

Zentangle and Zendoodle.

Enjoy learning with up to 9 of your friends For Beginners & Beyond.

Your computer, phone, or tablet makes it easy to get your friends together, share a libation or two,

and experience something new. It all starts with a single line. And it doesn’t have to be straight!

Warning: ZenDoodling can be very addictive.

You’ll need fine line markers (micron markers, fine sharpies, but a good pen will

work) a soft lead pencil (#2) and paper. Cardstock works best (even the non-shiny

surface of old cards). Heavier paper gives the best results.

Any kind of tool to make straight lines, circles, and curves can also be beneficial.

Painting loosely, “wet in wet”, creates a look like no other. When wet paint meets wet paper wonderful things start to happen especially in skies and water. Many view it as “letting go” as control is tricky. Our class highlights this technique,

building depth in paintings as they slowly dry, incorporating “lifting” and “masking” keeping the whites to create this classic Delaware marsh scene.

Gerilyn Gaskill guides you through the process. This class is for Beginner and Intermediate level painters.

fluid, drawing notebook, small misting spray bottle, water container, pencil, and kneaded eraser. Your regular palette-your chosen colors-but add Yellow Ocher

and Raw Sienna for sky effects.

This will be a ZOOM Class. Go to www.MiltonArtsGuild.org for registration and payment.

When you are registered you will get a code for the zoom class. Please download the zoom.com program on your computer,

Gerilyn Gaskill’s passion is capturing the beauty of the Delaware coastline & Delmarva landscapes in watercolor, oil and acrylics. Her interest in art started young in kindergarten, helped along by her great-grandfather, artist August Seiler, who also painted coastal imagery. Her aunt Sheryl Woods of Lewes, DE also helped cultivate her love of art throughout her life, especially in plein air. Her goal is to capture the here and now before it’s forgotten. She paints

the changing time, a visual history that stirs your memories.

Now is the time to BUY LOCAL, FREQUENT LOCAL RESTAURANTS, either through carry out or “dining in”, BUY FROM SMALL BUSINESSES choosing them instead of big box or online shopping. Every little bit will

help get people back on their feet.

We salute, admire, and recognize the great debt we owe to the health care professionals and workers, teachers, at-home substitute teachers, cooks,

delivery folks, truck drivers, cleaners, grocery & drug store workers, garbage collectors, all those we sometimes just take for granted. These

people are bravely working tirelessly during this crisis to keep us safe, fed, supplied, and saving lives. Also to those who have tried to bring bright spots

to these dark days, keep it going! You are inspiring us all.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
