to value me as a person first? Its important to treat me as an
individual because I am a person in my own right with individual
needs. My disability doesnt define me. Although I may have the same
disability as another person my needs will be different. Value me
because this has an affect on my emotional well being. I have my
own preferences, choices, interests, abilities. I am still
someone's son/daughter/sister/brother/mother/father/nan or granddad
