The following are applications for extra-provincial and public vehicle operating licenses filed under the Motor Vehicle Transport Act, 1987, and the Public Vehicles Act. All information pertaining to the applicant i.e. business plan, supporting evidence, etc. is on file at the Board and is available upon request.

Any interested person who has an economic interest in the outcome of these applications may serve and file an objection within 29 days of this publication. The objector shall:

1. complete a Notice of Objection Form,

2. serve the applicant with the objection,

3. file a copy of the objection and provide proof of service of the objection on the applicant with the Board,

4. pay the appropriate fee.

Serving and filing an objection may be effected by hand delivery, mail, courier or facsimile. Serving means the date received by a party and filing means the date received by the Board.

Munro International Airport (Hamilton) to the Ontario/Quebec border crossings for furtherance to the Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport (Dorval) or the Jean Lesage International Airport (Quebec City) as authorized by the Province of Quebec.

AND WHEREAS the Government of Ontario has initiated the Agency Modernization Project (the “Project”) in the Ministry of Government Services in order to enhance the government’s ability to attract and retain qualified appointees and to provide Ontarians with improved access to regulatory and adjudicative agencies;

AND WHEREAS in furtherance of the Project the ministerial reporting relationships of two regulatory or adjudicative agencies listed in Column A of the Schedule to this Order in Council are being transferred to the Attorney General for administrative and operational purposes and these agencies together with three other agencies already reporting to the Attorney General (the Assessment Review Board, the Board of Negotiation under the Expropriations Act and the Ontario Municipal Board) will hereafter comprise the Environment and Land Use cluster;

AND WHEREAS in order to facilitate such transfers of ministerial reporting relationships it is necessary and convenient to assign and transfer the ministerial responsibility for the administration of statutes or parts thereof under the Executive Council Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. E.25;

THEREFORE, PURSUANT TO subsections 2(2), 5(1) and 8(1) of the Executive Council Act, and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council, the ministerial responsibility for the administration of the statutes set out in Column B of the Schedule to this Order in Council is hereby assigned and transferred from the Ministers listed in Column C to the Attorney General, and the previous Orders in Council made under this Act listed in Column D are hereby amended and shall be interpreted accordingly.

2. Effective February 1, 2009, funds managed by the Public Guardian and Trustee pursuant to the Escheats Act and funds transferred to the Unadministered Estates Account of the Public Guardian and Trustee shall bear interest at the rate of 0%.

3. (a) Effective February 1, 2009, interest shall be computed from the day on which money was received by the Accountant of the Superior Court of Justice to the day before the date on which the money is available for payment to the person entitled thereto and be added to each account and compounded at the end of each month.

(b) Money paid or transferred to the Accountant of the Superior Court of Justice bears interest on the closing daily balance,

(i) in the case of money required to be held in United States currency, at the rate of 2.00%;

(ii) in the case of money deposited for the benefit of minors and parties under disability, at the rate of 4.00% per annum, payable monthly; and

CORPORATIONS INFORMATION ACT





1. Sections 2.1 and 2.2 of Regulation 182 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 are revoked. 2. Subsection 2.3 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: (1) A corporation that is required to file an annual return under section 3.1 of the Act shall deliver the return to the person or entity and in the manner and within the time specified in this section. 3. Section 2.5 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: 2.5 (1) Section 2.3 of this Regulation does not apply in respect of an annual return that a corporation was required to deliver before October 1, 2009 under section 2.1 of this Regulation as it read on or after January 1, 2009 and before October 1, 2009 or that a corporation was required to deliver before January 1, 2009 under section 3.1 of the Act as it read before that date, but that the corporation did not deliver within the required time. (2) A corporation may deliver the annual return referred to in subsection (1) to the Minister if the return is in electronic format in accordance with subsection 3 (1). (3) A corporation may not deliver the annual return referred to in subsection (1) to the Canada Revenue Agency or to the Minister of Revenue. (4) An annual return delivered under this section shall set out the information listed in paragraphs 1 to 7 of section 2.4 in respect of the corporation as of the date of delivery.

4. Section 7 of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: 7. A director, deputy director or manager of the Ministry whose duties relate to the administration of the Act may sign any certificate for the purposes of section 20 of the Act. 5. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the later of October 1, 2009 and the day this Regulation is filed. (2) Section 4 and this section come into force on the day this Regulation is filed.

(2) La personne morale peut remettre le rapport annuel visé au paragraphe (1) au ministre s’il se présente sous forme électronique conformément au paragraphe 3 (1). (3) La personne morale ne peut remettre le rapport annuel visé au paragraphe (1) ni à l’Agence du revenu du Canada ni au ministre du Revenu.

(4) Le rapport annuel remis en application du présent article donne les renseignements visés aux dispositions 1 à 7 de l’article 2.4 à l’égard de la personne morale, établis à la date de la remise.

4. L’article 7 du Règlement est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 7. Tout directeur, directeur adjoint ou gestionnaire du ministère dont les fonctions se rapportent à l’application de la Loi peut signer les certificats visés à l’article 20 de celle-ci.

Le tarif d’abonnement annuel est de 126,50$ + T.P.S. pour 52 ou 53 numéros hebdomadaires débutant le premier samedi du mois de janvier (payable à l’avance) L’inscription d’un nouvel abonnement au courant de l’année sera calculée de façon proportionnelle pour la première année. Un nouvel abonné peut commander des copies d’éditions précédentes de la Gazette au coût d’une copie individuelle si l’inventaire le permet.
