    HOW TO LOGIN

    To login to the website go to supremebasics.com. Click on “My Account”.

    Enter your username (username is always your e-mail address) and password (always lower case). If you

    do not know your login you may contact our Sales Administration staff at

    [email protected].

    Forgot My Password

    If you forget your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” feature.

    Enter your email address and Account Number, your password will be emailed to you shortly.

    OPENING AN ACCOUNT

    If you would like to open an account with Supreme Basics, click on “My Account” at the top of the

    homepage.

    Click on “Open an account” and download the Account Application. You can email the completed form

    to [email protected] or fax to 1-888-275-0811.

    Your account number will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your account being opened.

    Require A Username and Password

    If you already have an account with Supreme Basics but do not have an online ordering profile set up,

    you can request one.

    Under “My Account” in the “New client” section, click on “I want an access code”.

    Complete the form below “I ALREADY HAVE a corporate account”. Click on “SEND” and your username

    and password will be emailed to you.

    If you don’t have an account with Supreme Basics and you would like an online profile, click on “CREATE

    A PROFILE” under “I DO NOT HAVE a corporate account”.

    Complete the form below, click on “SEND”, your username and password will be emailed to you within a

    few hours of your request (during business hours from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm).

    Shopping As A Guest

    You can also shop as a “Guest” without having a corporate account or online profile.

    Find the items that you would like to add to your cart. When you are done shopping, click on the “Cart”

    icon.

    Select “Proceed to Checkout”.

    Review your order, make any necessary changes. Select “Next step”.

    MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS AND COST CENTRES

    If you need place an order for a specific department which falls under a larger account it is often

    referred to as a “cost centre”.

    Once logged into your account you will see a drop down menu with a list of your “Cost centres” and

    “Ship To’s” that are set up for your account. Select the appropriate “Cost centre” and “Ship To”. To

    begin shopping select one of our product categories, enter a product number in the “search” field or

    click on the “Quick Order” tab.

    When you are ready to confirm the delivery and payment portion of your order, you have the ability to

    change the “Cost Centre” and “Ship To” if you so wish. Click on “Process order” when ready to submit

    your order. Please note: if you would like to create another order under a different account you must

    log out of your session.

    SEARCHING

    There are a few different ways to search online.

    Search Product Field: Type in the product number (you may type in Supreme’s item #, the manufacturer

    model #, or the description).

    Product Categories: The following product categories are displayed in the main navigation tab. When

    you select any of the product categories, products for this category will diplay.

    Once you have made your selection, a list of associated products with prices will display.

    You can enter the quantity you would like to order

    To add items to your cart, click “Add to cart”

    Product Specifications

    For electronic products, if technical specifications are available, you are able to consult them directly

    from our website by clicking on PDF icon.

    Ink & Toner Finder

    To quickly find your printer cartridge model, click on “Cartridges”. You can enter the model number of

    the cartridge or select the brand you are looking for.

    Searching by Cartridge Model

    Enter the model number of your cartridge and click on “Search”.

    A list of related products will display.

    You can also search for a cartridge directly by entering your cartridge number in the search engine of the

    section “Search a cartridge model”.

    Searching By Brand

    Once you have selected your brand of Ink and Toner, a list of the models will display.

    Click on your model of your printer.

    ADDING PRODUCTS TO YOUR CART

    You can add a product to your cart or favourites list directly from the search results by typing in the

    correct quantity and clicking “Add to cart”.

    The product will be added to your cart and you can continue shopping.

    QUICK ORDER FORM

    Using the “Quick Order” form allows you to quickly add products to your cart by simply entering the

    product numbers and quantity needed.

    Enter the Supreme product number, select the product, hit enter.

    Enter the quanity you require. Once you are finished adding your products, click on “ADD TO CART”. If

    you would like to make a change to the quantity required, simply change the number under “Quantity”.

    If you make an error with the product code, an error message will display “product number not valid”.

    CHECKING OUT A CART

    From the moment you have added items to your cart, they will display in the navigation bar on the top

    right hand side of screen. When you are done selecting the products you want and would like to review

    your order, click on the orange shopping cart.

    A window will appear with a list of products. To submit your order you can click on “Proceed to

    Checkout”. You can also click on “Save my order” to submit your order at a later date.

    At this stage you can still add, delete or modify the quantity of a product. If you want to delete an item

    from your cart, you just have to click on the blue bin “Remove”. Once you have reviewed your order,

    click “Next step”.

    Note: If your account requires you to use Purchase Order Numbers, you will need to enter this in the

    “Order” section.

    Select the delivery address to which you want to receive your order, if different from the billing address.

    You must then choose your payment method (Charge Account, Master Card, Visa). When your payment

    method is selected click “Process order”.

    Your order has been submitted! You will receive an email confirmation of your order, you can also print

    an order confirmation by clicking the “Print” icon.

    APPROVING ORDERS

    If you are a shopper and your orders require approval before they are submitted you will receive the

    following message when you go to check out your cart.

    Once you confirm the shipping address, click on “Submit for approval”. The order will be put on hold until the administrator approves, modifies, or refuses the order.

    When the order is submitted the approver will receive an email indicating there is an order awaiting their approval.

    The Approver must log in to the site to access the pending order.

    Once logged in, click on “Submitted Orders” under “My account”.

    A list of all the submitted orders to review will display. Click on the invoice number (order number provided in the email) that requires approval.

    You must choose one of the following actions and click on “Next step”:

    Approve this order Modify this order Decline this order and transfer to saved orders of the buyer Decline this order and delete

    If the order is approved, the approver must finalize the order by selecting the payment option. Click on “Next step”.

    Select the payment method. Click on “Process order”.

    The order confirmation will display. You can also choose to print this by clicking on the “Print” icon.

    Modifying an Order

    To modify an order, select “Modify this order”, then click on “Next step”.

    Approvers can add items to the order, change the quantity, delete an item or enter in a Purchase Order

    name/number. Once finished modifying the order click on “Save my order” or “Next step”. You can

    then proceed with submitting the order.

    Declining an Order

    Approvers also have the ability to also decline an order. There are two options:

    Decline this order and transfer to saved orders of the buyer

    Decline this order and delete

    You can add a reason for declining the order which will be emailed to the buyer.

    SAVED ORDERS

    Creating A Saved Order

    You can create an order with the option save it for a later date. To save the contents of your cart, click

    on “Save my order” from your shopping cart. This will save your order until you are ready to submit it.

    All products in your cart will then be in the “Save orders” tab.

    When you click on “Save my order” you will receive the following message, click “OK”.

    Accessing Your Saved Orders

    Click on “Saved Orders” in the navigation bar of your account at the top of the page

    Your saved orders are listed by date. You can view the details of a saved order by clicking on the invoice

    number.

    Submitting Saved Orders

    Click on the “Saved Order” you would like to order. The items on this order will display for you.

    To transfer the contents of a “Saved order” to your shopping cart click “Transfer to my cart”. Please

    proceed to page 16 for steps to check out.

    You can also delete the order by clicking on “Remove this order”.

    Submit An Order Using Order History

    This tab will allow you to reorder items that have been previously ordered.

    Click on “Order history” in the navigation bar of your account at the top of the page. Your previous

    orders and their details will appear in the centre of the screen listed from the most recent order to the

    oldest.

    NOTE: you will only see the order history for orders initiated by you. Only customers with

    Administrator access will be able to see all orders for a specific account. Administrator access can be

    requested through our Customer Service team.

    You can reorder items by specifying the desired quantity, click on “Add” found at the end of each line.

    This will add the items to your cart. You can also choose to reorder the entire order by clicking on “View

    Full Order”.

    You can also search for a specific previous order through various menu options.

    Click on “Add all to cart”.

    MAKING A RETURN

    You can easily make a return by clicking “Return Merchandise” in the navigation bar of your account at

    the top of the page (orders less than 30 days will appear in the centre of the screen).

    You can search for the invoice you would like to choose or click on the invoice number (the details of the

    order will display).

    Select the products to return and enter the quantity that you wish to return.

    Select the reason for the return from the following choices below. If you wish, you can enter a comment

    in the space provided.

    Click on “Process Return”.

    A return merchandise confirmation page will display. You can print a copy by clicking “PRINTABLE

    VERSION”.

    You will also receive the confimation of your return by email.

    You can view all orders that you have placed including your invoices.

    Under “My Account” select “Order history”.

    Select the order or invoice you would like to view.

    You can review your order/invoice and re-order from this invoice, click on “Add” or “Add all to cart”. You

    also have the option to print by clicking the “Print” icon.

    CREATING AND USING FAVOURITES LISTS

    My favourites

    This feature allows you to create different lists of product for your individual or departmental needs

    (weekly purchases, paper, office supplies, furniture, etc.). These lists are completely customizable.

    To see what favourite lists you have currently, click on “My favourites” under “My Account”.

    Your existing lists will appear in the centre of the screen. You can choose to modify, order from your list

    or create a new list.

    Creating a Favourites List

    To create a new favourites list, click on “New list”.

    You can name your list and add a description, click on “Save my list”.

    To add products to your “Favourites list”, click on “Modify”.

    Enter the product number to into the search box.

    Once you have found your product, click on the left checkbox and click “Add to my list”.

    You can also add to your favourites list while shopping. Once you have found the product you would like

    to add to your favourites, click on the “Favourites” icon to add to your list.

    Select the list you would like to add the selected product to, click on “Add to this list”.

    Modifying a Favourites List

    To modify an existing favourites list, click on “Modify”.

    Here you can add or remove products from your list. Once you have made your changes click on “Save

    my list”.

    Deleting a Favourites List

    To delete a list, click on “Remove”. This list will be permanently deleted so it will not be possible to

    restore it.

    You will receive a warning message asking if you would like to remove this list, click “OK”.

    Shopping from a Favourites List

    Select the favourites list you want to shop from, on “My favourites”.

    You can change the order of the products in your list by selecting an option from the “Sort” drop down

    menu.

    The “As You Defined” option links to the “Display position position number giving you the ability to

    customize the order in which your product appears.

    The quantity can be altered by changing it in the “Quantity” field.

    Once you are finished selecting products from your Favourites list, click the “Add to cart” button.

    Note: all item comments that are stored within your favourite list will transfer to your cart if that item

    is selected
