For me, color is where I get inspired.

It’s what launches the theme of every

collection. Embracing color reflects a

zest for life. It makes me feel alive.

For Fall 2011, I’ve fallen in love with

deep saturated colors that are seductive

& sultry.

Nature always inspires me. It is the most

beautiful art in the world. Nature is the

only thing that invigorates me & calms me

at the same time. The dark sultry palette

that I selected for this season made me

think of an enchanted forest or garden.

I visualized a lot nature inspired prints, so

theme for this collection is called “sultrous

garden” (Yeah, I madeup the word sultrous,

it feels right. Don’t ever limit your

imagination by what already exists).

Every show I do is about taking the viewer

on a journey. As the collection unfolds,

you experience elements of this sultrous

garden, each series with its own identity.

The collection is made up of asymmetrical

silhouettes & with symmetric patterns

creating a visual tension & balance.

The fabrics are soft & supple creating

effortless fluidity. The styling of the pieces

is simple sophisticate – pure,

uncomplicated shapes with striking color.

Being creative is about expressing

yourself. Being a clothing designer is

about serving your customer with your

creativity. The more I design clothes, the

more it becomes about you & less about

me. Recognizing this, I really wanted to

acknowledge & celebrate the curves of the

female form.So that’s what I did.

I engineered all the prints in the

collection to highlight the natural

shape of a woman. They create an

hourglass shape for any woman.
