One True Faith
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The concept of a one true faith, one true religion, orone true church, (typically capitalized)
stem from the concept of the One True God concept asserted by believers in
a monotheistic view ofGod. Belief in such a God, regarded as the "true God," typically carries
with it a certain degree ofexclusivism a belief that true believers are more blessed than
others, more superiorto others, and, more fundamentally, more likely to be saved than others.
Related concepts are vast. Some are: Monotheism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Chosen
People, Persecution of religion in ancient Rome, Christian heresy in the 20th century,Anti-
Protestantism, Divine Service, House of Yahweh, and the Temple in Jerusalem etc.
There is also the understanding that faith is more then a religious belief, and therefore can
mean it is something that all of us have. The claim that one faith is true, and that by implication
other religions are more or less false to the extent to which they differ from the "one true faith",
is based upon the foundational claim that God has spoken to mankind through some public
revelation, which reveals the will of the divinity. The concept of "one true faith", though
pertaining to religion, is also based on the basic philosophical law, known as the Law of Non-
Contradiction. Two propositions which contradict each other cannot both be true. Therefore,
various religious traditions offering contradictory doctrines, cannot be affirmed as equally "true".
The Holy city is the New Jerusalem. Its prepared by God. Jn. 14:1-3. It comes from God. This
city is not the New Earth but it seems to hover over the New Earth. The Earths light will come
from the city. Vs.24. The Bride is the Church (assembly) & the city.
Then, I saw Him. He stands on a bridge, somewhere in a desert, and judges. And He brings
water, because Hes an Aquarian. The last one was a Pisces, and He brought fish. And near
the desert, in a cave, they wait. There, its very dark, and very humid. And they look like bats,
and they wait. Eventually, they all go there. This place is like a place between the earth and
what is in the horizon. And theyre stuck there, and they wait. And this place didnt exist before,
its makeshift.
We live in cities badly; we have built them up in culpable innocence and now fret helplessly in a
synthetic wilderness of our own construction. We need ... to make a serious, imaginative

assessment of that special relationship between the self and the city; its unique plasticity, its
privacy and its freedom.
I have no beginning, and no end.
