The Days of Ahab
Class #3Elijah's Exodus
Our Christadelphian Heritage
• Seeking after the one true faith
• Separation from Christendom
• Emphasis on the importance of doctrine
• Emphasis on the importance of holy living and moral uprightness
• Rejection of the vain philosophies of man (ecumenism, humanism etc.)
• Sound methods for objective Bible study
Our Heritage Being Dismantled
• Should we claim we “have the truth”?
• Are we that different from Christianity?
• Does doctrine matter that much?
• Shouldn't we allow people to be true to themselves and live alternative lifestyles?
• Why should brother and sisters have different roles in the ecclesia? Why aren't we feeding the poor?
• Is too much Bible study turning us into Pharisaical religious intellectuals?
Elijah’s Preaching Efforts

Forsaken God’s Covenant
“Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:” (Deut. 29:25)
