On Tour withSiobhan Magnus
This presentation will take you on tour with the greatest female singer of all time!
Presented by: Allegra JacobsProject #13: My Favorite Band or Solo Artist6/1/11
Come backstage for a brief history of how it all began for
Siobhan.Siobhan’s belief is that no one
should be boxed into one category, and we all should be
able to be whatever we want and do whatever we want without any labels. Therefore, she experiments
in all different types of music, making her very diverse as an
artist.
She currently isn’t signed to a major record label, but has a single out, as well as EP with her band Lunar Valve and is
working on a solo debut album due out in the fall.
Meet SiobhanAs a solo artist,
Siobhan has been working by herself for about six months, but has been with her band since
high school. Her solo track is
called Beatrice Dream, while her band has
titles like Where Demons Lie and
Stalemate.

My #1 favorite song by Sio is...
Siobhan got one of her best responses from this Rolling Stones song during
her run on American Idol. Her version of the classic was unique, but still true
to the original. It was catchy and current, but stayed true to the original melody as well. She even sang it as her opening number on the American Idols
Live! Tour the following summer.“I see a red door and I want it painted black,
no colors anymore I want them to turn black…”
“I look inside myself and see my heart is black.”
