On a journey towards the home by the seaWe pass along a strip of land occupied by homes made of hay and sticks.Taking a short break on the trip and looking up at the sunset feeling free,I see a handful of kids playing with the sand in front of their home seeming to perform tricks.Looking at their lack of clothesAnd their limp and weak bonesI wonder if their lack of material items bother them. But then I see their smiles and playful manner,And their actions in digging through the sand looking for gems.In that moment, I experience bittersweet feeling because the plan I was told would make these kids’ smiles shatter.Removing these kids is not what I want to doFor all I want to is support them.
