Children will participate in various classes such as Choir, Musical Games as well as special interest classes for further enrichment. Although children will present a musical presentation on Thursday, July 21, the main emphasis of SummerSing is on learning, discovering, and experiencing the arts that can be used in Worship and Praise in a fun way. We offer children an opportunity to experience many different ways to serve the Lord! SummerSing is designed for those with an interest in music and/or one of arts offered.

This week will be filled with musical and arts activities such as guitar, musical games, vocal skills, and drama as a part of a mini-musical experience. Participants will be learning songs from the musical “The Prodigal Clown” They will present the songs they learn along with some drama from this presentation on Thursday, July 21st Parents’ Night. They will also be sharing what they have done in their classes at this time. On Friday, they will have a fun half day to play some games and help their team in the challenges of that day. Earning team points and devotions are also part of the week.

Auditions for a special part (solo or drama) in the mini-musical presented on Parents’ Night will be on Tuesday, June 14 at 6:30pm in Room #A214 - the Children’s Building (if you can’t make this date you must contact us BEFORE June 14th to schedule a makeup audition). Audition information will be sent to you if you request it at registration. Students must attend Family Night, Thursday, July 21st, in order to receive a part.
