Giulia Buccarella – Curriculum Vitae Giulia Buccarella was born in Bari in year 1970 in a family of musicians creatives of the famous complex I MUSICI di ROMA , daughter of Cama Buccarella professor of harmony and musical analysis at the Conservatory of Bari since 1977. She began the study of violin at age of 4 years, at 7 years old she won the National Competition in Pescara in 1979, at age 9, she won the National Competition organized by RAI as a young talent italiano. The same year she was invited to the Opera House in Rome as a young prodigy violinist to receive the David di Donatello Awards for the famous Italian composer Nino Rota. At age of 11 she won the National Competition of Vittorio Veneto and same year she played as a solo concerto for violin and orchestra Mendelssohn in Bari with the orchestra of the Province. She graduated at age 16 at the Music Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome with full marks and honors under the guidance of his uncle Claudio Buccarella violinist of « I Musici di Roma » . In 1988 she won second prize at the International Violin Competition Valentino Bucchi Roma. Nel 1989 won the First Prize at the International Chamber Music of Trieste. In 1990, First Prize ex-aequo at the National Competition of chamber music Pergolesi in Naples , only 18 years old, she won the third prize at the International Competition of Chamber Music of Monfalcone ( Duino ) and Second Prize at the International Rodolfo Lipizer Award. Among her teachers: Salvatore Accardo at the International School of Music W.Stauffer of Cremona, Franco Gulli at the University 'Bloomington Indiana (America). Boris Belkin in 'Accademia Chigiana of Siena for 5 years, winning every year Diploma of Merit, and the Trio di Trieste in Duino for 4 consecutive years. She is Professor of Violin at the Conservatory from the age of 18 years and winner of the ministerial competition, currently Professor at the Conservatory of Music in Bari.

Giulia Buccarella – Curriculum Vitae She has a career as a soloist and chamber duo with an extensive repertoire, she plays for the most 'important music associations with a large number of concerts each year ; she has performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Bloomington, with the German Symphony Orchestra Musikfreude of Göttingen (Germany). She plays a beautiful violin contemporary Claire Chaubard well as a Jacob Stainer in 1659 and a prestigious Jacques Poullot bow. Giulia 'from 2013 Artistic Director of the Musical Concert STAINER based in Bari, with which organizes concerts abroad, the next they are in France and Germany and Switzerland.

It's an honour for Puglia to consider the artand talent of this our star of classical musicand we wait for her the seventh of September2014 in Lucca, the 18th of october in Bari forN.Piccinni Foundation, in November in Leccefor Camerata of Salento, in December in Paris

for Stainer, the 10th of January 2015 in Ferrara, town theatre, in spring in Geneveand then again in France in other towns still to define. The real surprise will be tolisten to her with her new violin, a copy of Stradivari Messiah which is inpreparation, built for her by the well-known French lute-maker, a preciousinstrument which we'll appreciate in the next performances. “I'll show it to you inall over Europe” says the violinist ” I've chosen Claire Chaubard because among allthe modern contemporary lute makers, her violins are the best, I had the chanceto try a lot of the most ancient and contemporary violins: a great violinist needs agreat lute maker, so famous and acclaimed in all over the world. The good sound,its inestimable power and the precision of assembly fully satisfy my needs ,Buccarella says, these rare values belong to this lute maker. This will be the thirdviolin in my property coming in October and I hope the weather will help me indrying the varnish of this violin, obtained as 300 years ago. which I can interpret some authors with the Guarneri model of Claire, othermusicians of the past with my Stainer of 1659 and finally with Stradivari Messiah.To enjoy this precious Apulian artist it's sufficient to listen to one of her concerts,she always receives great success of public and critics, she's considered brave onthe stage, full of energy, involving with her personality a lot of persons like in herconcerts with standing ovation. BRUSSELS, June 13 - Julia Buccarella Violinist Performer and Professor of violin at
