Oiler Marching Band Adds Spirit
Many practices and much preparation went into making the 1971 Oiler Marching Band season a successful one. Highlights of the halftime shows included: "Hi There, Neighbor" and the rock hit "25 or 6 to 4". The Homecoming festivities were celebrated by playing the beautiful selections from "Jesus Christ Superstar". All year, the rousing spirit of the Oiler Band continued to keep spirit alive at MPHS.
