Oiler Marching Band Adds Spirit Many practices and much preparation went into making the 1971 Oiler Marching Band season a successful one. Highlights of the halftime shows in- cluded: "Hi There, Neighbor" and the rock hit "25 or 6 to 4". The Homecom- ing festivities were celebrated by playing the beautiful selections from "Jesus Christ Superstar". All year, the rousing spirit of the Oiler Band continued to keep spirit alive at MPHS. Many practices and much preparation went into making the 1971 Oiler Marching Band season a successful one.
