DESCRIPTION

OILAID-AI-10 is an acid corrosion inhibitor designed to inhibit the attack of hydrochloric acid onsteel pipe during acidizing operations. Its typical properties are:

OILAID-AI-10 is a blend of acetylenic alcohols and surfactants in a balanced solvent system.

APPLICATION AND TREATMENT

OILAID-AI-10 acid inhibitor is effective at all temperatures up to 107 C (225 F). Within it'sapplicable temperature range, it is an excellent inhibitor because it focuses on providing goodperformance and good economics.

OILAID-AI-10 functions very well in low to high strength acid systems (15% - 28% HCl), andremains functional in the presence of mutual solvents. It should be added to the mixing water prior toloading operations for proper dispersion. The following loadings are recommended:

HANDLING AND STORAGE

OILAID-AI-10 is a Flammable liquid, Corrosive--UN No. 2924. Extreme care should therefore beexercised when handling and storing the product. It should be stored away from flames, directsunlight and other heat sources. Should be stored where temperatures will remain between 10 C and+50 C. If done so, and not opened or contaminated, the material should remain effective for at least 2years.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.Eye Contact: Wash eyes with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention.Skin Contact: Wash affected area with copious quantities of water.Ingestion: Drink milk/water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
