Sub. : Multifaceted problems persist in Helibase and to be lookedinto with utmost urgency.

Respected Sir,

This has reference to our visit at Helibase. During discussion with ourmembers at Helibase, following points were raised with somesuggestions and demands.

• At present buses are plying between Helibase to Panvel ViaVasudhara Bhavan. As all three Assets have been shifted to NBPGreen Heights, employees working with Assets, doing ON/OFFduty to offshore have demanded to reroute the buses via GreenHeights. Buses are plying two times a day at 12.30 pm and 2.30pm respectively.

• Offshore crew have requested for recreation room on 2nd floorwhere space is available and we can provide their table tennistable, Carrom & Chess board. The mentioned space is open socrew can hear announcement easily.

• Our homeopathies Dr. Ashwini Joshi's visit may please beschedule ones or twice in a week, so that bills of Aurvedicmedicines and Homeopathy medicines can be signed at Helibase .

• Cargo room has not been shifted till today. As you are aware newHelibase building had been inaugurated by then PetroleumMinister, Shri. A. K. Anthony, in the year 2013. No furniture isprovided to these staff and officers till date, also a progress formaking room ready is very slow. Almost all offices have beenshifted from shade to this new building except cargo department.

• As we all are aware water supply has been reduced by 40% allover city due to shortage of water. Problem of water will be acutein future, to avoid the situation we should explore ground waterby drilling bore wells in our premises. Permission from AirportAuthority may please be obtained for drilling the bore wells byONGC to overcome this problem.

• The complaint from house keeping boys has been received thatAutomatic room Air Fresheners are stolen from bathrooms., CISFmay please be alerted to avoid the thefts.

• Housekeeping staff are forced to do filing work in AdmnDepartment at the same time their contractor is not allowingthem to do other job than house keeping. Separate arrangementmay please be made by providing manpower to Admn departmentfor administrative work.

• The House keeping contract has been awarded to "M/s MoosaServices Co." at Helibase. Total 11 employees are working underhis contract, out of 11 employees 4 employees are not paid MOUwages, Amount of Rs. 5670/- (Rupees five thousand six hundredseventy only) has been shown as loan advance in their pay slip. Itis a criminal activity by the said contractor. Stringent action mayplease be taken against this contractor otherwise we have tolodge complaint against this contractor in police station. Pleasefind enclosed the copies of the same, surfacing the saiddeduction against advance.

• The Head - Logistics, Helibase has moved a proposal formanpower requirement of 4 persons. Two officers are retiring innext two months which will aggravate the issue of manpowerCrISIS.

• Due to shortage of manpower employees are compelled to doovertime as Helibase operations are very important to manifestour offshore schedule of crew members. If the extra work hasbeen taken by employees we have to sanction them overtime.This problem can be resolved only by recruiting new employees.

Your esteemed authorities is requested to kindly look in to theproblems mentioned above and solution may please be given at theearliest as these are requirements given by offshore going employees.
