CLOVERBOT CHALLENGE
The 2015 Cloverbot Challenge is a unique
opportunity for Ohio 4-H Cloverbud
members to be involved in a 4-H program
beyond Franklin County.
Gather a team of 2-8 Cloverbud members.
Design and construct a model with a
moving part or simple machine around the
theme of Wonderful Water. Create a
team poster that illustrates your team's
overall experience. Present the model and
poster to professional reviewers and take
part in an exciting, fun statewide challenge
event that includes an awards ceremony
where each child and team is recognized.
This program fits easily into your existing
Cloverbud club and introduces youth to
technology in a fun, interactive, kid-
friendly way. Detailed information and
registration materials are available by
contacting Beth at
Deadline is very soon!

4-H Shooting Sports
Shooting Sports 4-H Projects must be taken under the guidance and leadership of a certified 4-H Shooting Sports Instructor. In Franklin County 4-H Members have 3 options:
Members can join the Franklin County Shooting Sports 4-H Club. Contact the advisor for info.
If your club has an advisor who has been recently certified, they can work with you.
If the 4-H member is already enrolled in a 4-H Club and they are interested in taking one of these specific shooting sports projects: Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol, or Archery, there is a team of Certified Shooting Instructors on the west side of Franklin County who are open to having interested members joining them. For this option, members must attend a Safety Meeting on March 22, 2-4 p.m. For more information please send an e-mail to: shooting sports option

KEY LEADER CORNER A Note From the Dog Key Leader,
Dog Bowl Team Tryouts Franklin County Dog Bowl team tryouts will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Agility and Rally for Fun, 1000 Morrison Road, Suite I, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. The test will be written and will last for thirty (30) minutes. Placement on the teams will be determined by the outcome of the test. Anyone applying for the dog bowl team must commit to attend regularly scheduled practices and firmly commit to attending the Ohio 4-H Dog Bowl Tournament on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Times for the tournament have not yet been announced, but please plan on an early morning arrival and a full day commitment. We have a lot of fun on these teams and part of the reason is that only the highest levels of sportsmanship and teamwork are acceptable. Anyone displaying poor sportsmanship will be asked to leave the team. For more information about dog bowl or to review the rules, please check out the rules at the following link: http://www.4hansci.osu.edu/companion/documents/2015DogBowlInformation_000.pdf We are looking forward to the development of intracounty friendships and teamwork, so we hope all interested will consider applying for the dog bowl teams. Please RSVP to Lora at [email protected] if you plan to attend so that we can make sure we have enough testing materials on hand. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call Lora at (614) 419-
