Capability Overview

TLPs, SPARs and Semi-submersibles 

The key to WorleyParsons success is an interace management capability that

incorporates naval architecture, hull and topsides design, mooring and riser design

along with construction, transportation and installation operations support.

WorleyParsons has designed 16 of total 21 currently sanctioned tension leg

platforms and has participated in over 20 semi-submersibles projects.

FPSOs and FSOsWorleyParsons has been involved in over 70 ship shaped facilities (52 FPSOs, 24

FSOs and 2 FPUs) in 22 countries. Our involvement ranges rom concept screening

studies through to extensive FEED and EPCM deliveries for new-builds, hull

conversions including design of the associated topsides and mooring systems.

Brownfield TopsidesWorleyParsons Improve  delivers an extensive list of long-term service contracts

for many existing offshore facilities. We provide services ranging fromsmall maintenance projects through to major shutdown projects including

debottlenecking, upgrades and refurbishments. We specialise in portfolio

management through our streamlined, proprietary project delivery systems which

Fixed SubstructuresWorleyParsons has experience and capability in FEED and detail design of fixed

substructures or Oshore Topsides including steel ramed structures, gravity

based structures (GBS) made of both steel and concrete designs ranging from the

shallow waters of the Middle East to the deep waters of the North West Shelf of

Australia.

Hook-up and CommissioningWorleyParsons has experience and capability in HUC services or brownield and

greenield Oshore Topsides including preparation o strategies and detailed

Arctic Conditions 

WorleyParsons are world leaders in the design and construction support of

offshore facilities located in remote, hostile environments. Innovative solutionshave consistently been implemented to solve the unique challenges in these

environments. WorleyParsons has provided engineering and procurement services

for the largest float-over platform in the world, to be located in the sub-arctic

Russian waters.

Minimum Facility Platforms 

Lightweight, generic, low-cost, oshore Minimal Facilities Platorms (MFPs) are

a speciality in WorleyParsons. Cost effective wellhead platform solutions can

be developed for both marginal and large multi-drill centre fields. WorleyParsons

has set new industry benchmarks and won a number of awards of its innovative

designs in this field.

Mega Decks 

WorleyParsons has a long history in the development of integrated deck float-over

installations and has been instrumental in the development of the analysis and

engineering techniques required to expand the range of applicability of the float-

over installation. We have designed the world’s largest floatover installed, single

Project Jasmine Area Development ProjectCustomer ConocoPhillipsProject Location Central North Sea, UKPhases

The North Sea Jasmine feld was discovered in June 2006. The Jasmine development comprises a new

wellhead platorm tied back to the ConocoPhillips operated Judy platorm via a new multiphase pipeline

and new riser platorm, bridge linked to the existing Judy platorm. The Jasmine Wellhead Platorm

includes a test separator, flare, metering and will be supported by a new bridge-linked living quarters

platform. WorleyParsons has been engaged by ConocoPhillips (as Operator) and their joint venture

partners BG and ENI to perorm FEL 2, FEL 3, detailed design and procurement services to develop the

 Jasmine feld.

Project Browse Basin DevelopmentCustomer Woodside Energy LtdProject Location Western AustraliaPhases

The Browse basin feld lies 300km oshore in a water depth o 400m. The gas reserves are

considered high enough to support a dedicated LNG acility. Select  has been assisting Woodside

to determine the optimal development scenario to best meet its business objectives. Possible

development scenarios that have been considered include gas export to new onshore LNG

acilities in either Darwin, or the Kimberly, transport to the existing LNG acilities on the Burrup

or possible oshore LNG options including oating acilities or fxed oshore structures in

neighboring shallow water.

Project  Equus Offshore FacilitiesCustomer HessProject Location Western AustraliaPhases

WorleyParsons performed the pre-FEED services for the Equus Offshore Facilities in the North-

West Shel o Australia. The acilities comprise a semi-submersible production acility, including

risers and moorings. The pre-FEED phase was executed by the Select / INTECSEA team in Australia.

The oshore development in located 180km north o Exmouth, Western Australia, in water depths

o over 1000m. The acility design ow rate is 325 MMscd and includes gas / liquid separation,

glycol regeneration, gas dehydration and gas / condensate export.

Project Shtokman Floating Production UnitCustomer GazPromProject Locatio0n Russian Arctic ShelfPhases

WorleyParsons performed the pre-Front End Engineering Design (FEED) services for the Shtokman

Development in the Barents Sea. The Shtokman gas/condensate feld is in the Russian sector o the

Barents Sea about 600 kilometres northeast of the city of Murmansk.

The production vessel is a ship-shape hull capable o withstanding the sea ice conditions that may occur

at the site and topsides capable of processing 70 million cubic metres per day of gas plus associated

liquids.

Project Platong Gas IICustomer ChevronProject Location ThailandPhases

The project is an expansion to the existing Platong complex, located in the Gul o Thailand.

Located in 70+ meters o water, the project involved installing a new gas processing platorm

(PLCPP2) and a new 200 bed living quarters (PLLQ2) platorm. Both platorms will be bridge

linked to existing acilities. The WorleyParsons scope covered conceptual design engineering

FEED, and procurement services including the purchase of long lead equipment. In addition, three

new subsea trunklines will be installed to supply the new facilities with gas and condensate.Brownfeld tie-ins and system de-bottlenecking on the existing Platong Complex will also be

undertaken.

Project Bayu Undan Gas Recycle ProjectCustomer ConocoPhillipsProject Location Timor SeaPhases

The single largest and most completed oshore acility in the southern hemisphere, project

value USD 2.2 billion. WorleyParsons delivered the pre-FEED and via joint venture delivered the

FEED, detailed design, procurement and supported fabrication, installation and commissioning.

WorleyParsons is currently executing the long-term engineering services contract to support the

operation of this facility.

The Bayu Undan surace acilities consist o three primary components: the Central Processing

(CPP) Complex, Wellhead Platform (WP1) and the Floating Storage and Off-loading vessel (FSO).

Project Sakhalin-1 Project, Arkutun-Dagi Field DevelopmentCustomer Exxon Neftegas LimitedProject Location RussiaPhases

WorleyParsons, through Sakhneftegas Engineering, is providing engineering and procurement

services or an oshore platorm to be located in the sub-arctic Russian waters. The oshore

platform will be the largest open-water floatover topsides in the world and the location brings

additional project challenges of an arctic environment and comprehensive Russian regulations and

certifcation requirements. The feld will be developed using a gravity based structure (GBS) to

support the integrated production / drilling topsides.

Project Umm Shaif Injection Facilities (USGIF)Customer ADMA OPCOProject Location United Arab EmiratesPhases

The USGIF project is the frst phase o a major redevelopment o the Umm Shai Field, located in

the Abu Dhabi sector of the Arabian Gulf. WorleyParsons originally performed the FEED for the

USGIF in Perth directly or ADMA OPCO and we were subsequently engaged by HHI to provide

detailed engineering for its EPC contract for the facilities. Detailed engineering was executed

in various locations with the majority o the work perormed in Kuala Lumpur. The project wassuccessfully delivered against extreme schedule demands driven by the long lead times on

procured equipment.

Project North Rankin Redevelopment (NR2) ProjectCustomer Woodside Energy LimitedProject Location Western Australia

Phases 

The Woodside operated North West Shel North Rankin Redevelopment Project will recover remaining low pressure reserves

rom the North Rankin and Perseus felds and is scheduled or completion in 2012.

The NR2 Project involves the construction and installation o a new gas processing acility – North Rankin B (NRB) -

alongside the existing North Rankin A (NRA) platform.

WorleyParsons provided the FEED detail design and procurement services for both the new platform (in joint venture with

KBR) and signifcant modifcations to NRA (in joint venture with Transfeld Services).

WorleyParsons provides engineering and project management services via a multicultural team on

our Saudi Aramco Maintain Potential Program (MPP) contract, based in Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar).

This multicultural team has in excess o 320 personnel with approximately 30% Saudi nationals,

30% Filipino nationals, and 30% US, UK and Australian nationals. The transparent and structured

sharing of project information ensures the team has a common goal with set tasks and milestones.

Consistency in management delivery and decision making provides clarity and eliminatesambiguity. As a result, this diverse team provides an optimal service to Saudi Aramco.

Project Global Offshore and Subsea Engineering Services ContractsCustomer BPProject Location Houston, USAPhases

WorleyParsons and INTECSEA have been selected to provide engineering and project management

services to support BP’s global offshore production and subsea facilities. BP has adopted the use

of long-term contracts to ensure its substantial program of offshore and subsea development

projects is delivered saely with technical integrity and high, long-term operating efciency. This

contract also includes brownfeld topsides modifcations or BP’s Gul o Mexico (GoM) producing

assets (Atlantis, Holstein, Horn Mountain, Mad Dog, Marlin, Na Kika, and Pompano), as well as

topsides work associated with tiebacks executed by the BP GoM Subsea Projects Group services.

Project Integrated Services Contract Gas ProjectsCustomer WoodsideProject Location Western AustraliaPhases

Over the past 15 years Woodside have become a signifcant player in the global hydrocarbons

market. Since 1995 they have contracted Transfeld Worley to provide sustaining capital and

operations support services to their assets on the North West Shel. Transfeld Worley was

awarded the provision of project management, engineering and design, procurement and

installation services or brownfeld projects, and shutdown and maintenance services or

Woodside’s gas assets including the provision o skilled trades persons. The scope encompasses

LNG, LPG and DOMGAS plants as well as associated oshore acilities including two o the world’s

largest gas production platforms and a floating production, storage and off take vessel.

Project Maui B FPSO - EPCM and Asset SupportCustomer Shell ToddProject Location Phases

The Whakaaropai FPSO is a converted tanker with a SOFEC external turret and topsides acilities.

Installed in 114m (375 t) water depth, the FPSO was located on the Maui B feld oshore New

Zealand. WorleyParsons provided services for concept selection, detail design, construction

management for the facility development and maintenance support for the FPSO located off New

Zealand.

Arctic and Cold Climate

Gas Processing

Heavy Oil and Oil Sands 

As the world’s oil resource is getting heavier, producers

worldwide must find production solutions for heavy oil and

INTECSEA is a global company within the WorleyParsons

offshore pipelines, subsea production, marine production

risers and floating production systems (including all types

LNG 

WorleyParsons’ track record in LNG / FLNG production

and LNG regas extends rom opportunity evaluation

studies and concept/technology selection, through front

end engineering design (FEED), and detailed engineering,

procurement and construction management (EPCM) for

both greenield and brownield LNG developments.

Onshore Developments

With much of the world’s easy to produce oil already

recovered, WorleyParsons increasingly assists customers

on projects employing a range of secondary and tertiary

Enhanced Recovery (ER) techniques.

Pipeline Systems 

WorleyParsons’ dedicated Pipeline and Terminals group

operates from centres of expertise in onshore pipelines,

compressor and metering stations, Geomatics and SCADA

systems.

Petrochemicals

With expertise gained over 600 projects in over 30

countries, our experience covers the manufacture

or processing of over 65 types of chemicals and

petrochemicals (from Acetic acid to Xylene crystallization).

Refining

With over 55 years o experience we have completed 23

grassroots refineries including supporting utility systems,

product terminals and offsite facilities ranging in capacity

form 5,600 bpd to 272,000 bpd.
