Moose & Moose Legion Ritual Competition Call Reminder that we will have both ritual competitions this year at the International Moose Legion Conference in Pittsburgh, PA the end of October. Times are assigned on a first come first served basis, so we encourage you to get your teams together and enter soon. See flyer along with registration form, shirt order form, Ad Book details and ritual entry forms are attached. Be sure to call the 800 number to reserve your housing at the hotel.
Final Winter Membership Workshop Moose International is conducting one final Regional Membership Workshops this winter. Workshops cover topics such as recruitment and retention challenges, as well as methods to address common issues expressed by Lodges and Chapters throughout the Fraternity. Registration is free for these one‐day, interactive sessions and both men and women can sign‐up today. See attached form for additional information. Scheduled workshops include:
March 7th – San Jose, CA Lodge 401
2020 Moose Convention Registration Open Registration and Housing for the 2020 International Moose Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is open via the Moose International website. New workshop offerings, more concise general sessions and first‐class evening events promise to deliver a memorable week for all involved. Please note that the convention begins very early this year, May 21‐26, in order to add a trip to Mooseheart for the high school commencement and Higher Degrees ceremonies on May 23rd. If you have ever wanted to attend the International Convention and visit Mooseheart, this is the year for you! Because of the earlier dates, attendees should note the change in hotel and registration deadlines. Additionally, with new officers being entered so close to the Convention dates, early‐bird rates for registration have been extended. Finally, no badges will be mailed prior to
convention, so members will need to pick up badge and Convention information on‐site. For more information, please visit www.moose2020milwaukee.org or the Moose website www.mooseintl.org.

Attend A Regional Membership Growth & Retention Workshop!
This winter, Moose International’s Membership Department will be conducting two regional workshops to
discuss recruitment and retention challenges, as well as methods to address common issues expressed by
Lodges and Chapters throughout the Fraternity.
Scheduled workshops include:
February 22nd – Buena Park, CA Lodge 1945
March 7th – San Jose, CA Lodge 401
What you will learn from attending:
New programs to help attract and retain members and make your lodge more profitable.
Marketing ideas for the fraternity.
Strategies for retaining members through a monthly program of communication, programming, and
activity tracking.
Review of the all new Online Mobile Application.
Communicating the value of the Moose to potential members.
Best membership practices from around the Fraternity.
Details:
All interested Loyal Order of Moose or Women of the Moose members are invited to participate.
There is no fee to attend.
You may attend any workshop on the schedule, regardless of your location.
All workshops run from 10:00am – 3:00pm, allowing most individuals the option of driving in and out
the same day.
A working lunch is provided by each Lodge at a cost of $8.00 per attendee. Cash will be collected at the
Lodge the day of each workshop.
All workshops are business casual-to-casual dress.
Sessions are meant to be interactive between participants and presenters. Please bring questions and
suggestions.
Please check the Lodge websites for any evening activities prior to or following the workshops.
RSVP’s are required to attend in order to allow for the proper amount of materials and food.
