Diversity Cup 2015 featured 9 teams. International, National, Regional and Local players participated from a all over the World. Farvez Maharoof, Kosala Kulasekara, Sujeeva DeSilva, Dinuk Hettiarachchi, Mohammad Ashraful, Tapash Baisya, Elias Sunny, Rizwan Cheema, Fahad Babar, Asad Ghous, Niraj Patel, Navneet Dhaliwal, Ali Pasha, Ali Waqas and Ali Khan were some of the most prominent players that were seen in action during the Diversity Cup 2015. Bangladesh Tigers, India Blues, Pakistan Greens and World XI emerged as the semi finalists after completion of the round robin matches. India Blues played Pakistan Greens at Bloomer park in the first semi final while Bangladesh Tigers played World XI at Mirage in the second semi final. Pakistan Greens elected to bat after winning the toss. India Blues bowled extremely well to restrict Pakistan Greens to 102 for 7 in 17 overs, however the last 3 overs belonged to Pakistan Greens as Ali Khan and Muhammad Tayyab scored 60 runs. M. Tayyab played a sheet anchor role scoring 64 runs while Ali Khan scored a brisk 28 not out of 10 deliveries. India Blues started the chase steadily with solid knocks from Shaik Yasin and Niraj Patel however fell short by 17 runs. Yasin and Niraj scored 44 and 36 runs respectively. M. Yousaf & M. Tayyab each claimed 2 wickets for 35 & 36 runs. In the 2nd semi final, World XI who won the toss and elected to bat first started their inning aggressively. Ali Waqas & Navneet Dhaliwal scored half centuries and both were not out at 55 & 53 runs. Ravindu Gunsekra, Rizwan Cheema and Jamie Merchant contributed 39, 37 and 35 runs for a World XI total score of 212. Bangladesh Tigers (BT) suffered a big blow in the first over when their inform batsman, former test cricketer Mohammad Ashraful was brilliantly caught at mid off by diving Jamie Merchant off the bowling of Ali Pasha, a first class cricketer from Pakistan. BT could never recover and were all out for 116. Rizwan Cheema was brilliant with his off spin claiming 4 wickets for 17 runs while Satsimranjit Dhindsa & Ali Pasha each got two wickets. DC 2015 final was played between defending champions Pakistan Greens (PAK) and World XI (WXI). WXI won the toss and elected to field. PAK opener, Ahmed Butt continued his good form and contributed 62 runs along with solid contributions from Fahad Babar and Ali Khan who scored 34 & 33(not out) runs respectively. PAK scored 154 for the loss of 5 wickets. World XI chase was marred by loss of 3 quick wickets however a brisk knock of 33 by Rizwan Cheema stabilized the inning for WXI. Navneeet Dhaliwal continued his solid form and scored crucial 44 not out while Ali Waqas contributed 28 runs. World XI chased the target on the second last ball of the final over and became the CHAMPIONS of 2015 Diversity Cup defeating Pakistan Greens by 3 wickets. Navneet Dhaliwal was declared the Player of the Match for his solid batting performance and excellent fielding.

Diversity Cup 2015 featured 9 teams. International, National, Regional and Local players

participated from a all over the World. Farvez Maharoof, Kosala Kulasekara, Sujeeva DeSilva,

Dinuk Hettiarachchi, Mohammad Ashraful, Tapash Baisya, Elias Sunny, Rizwan Cheema, Fahad

Babar, Asad Ghous, Niraj Patel, Navneet Dhaliwal, Ali Pasha, Ali Waqas and Ali Khan were some

of the most prominent players that were seen in action during the Diversity Cup 2015.

Bangladesh Tigers, India Blues, Pakistan Greens and World XI emerged as the semi finalists after

completion of the round robin matches.

India Blues played Pakistan Greens at Bloomer park in the first semi final while Bangladesh Tigers

played World XI at Mirage in the second semi final.

Pakistan Greens elected to bat after winning the toss. India Blues bowled extremely well to restrict

Pakistan Greens to 102 for 7 in 17 overs, however the last 3 overs belonged to Pakistan Greens as
