Customer Information: The information in thisinstallation instruction is intended for use only byskilled technicians who have the proper tools,equipment, and training to correctly and safely addequipment to your vehicle. These proceduresshould not be attempted by “do-it-yourselfers.”
NOTE:
• Be careful not to damage the front bumper andbody paint finish.
• This front under spoiler kit should be installed onlyif the ambient air temperature is 60°F (15°C) orabove.
• To allow the adhesive to “cure”, do not wash thevehicle for 24 hours.

1. Remove the front bulkhead cover (ten clips).
With Front Corner Sensors:
2. Remove the front bumper (two bolts, eight clips,and two self-tapping screws and pull the bumperout towards you). If equipped, unplug the fog lightconnectors. If equipped, unplug the front cornersensor connectors. Place the front bumper on ablanket to install the front under spoiler.

4. On the inside of the bumper, locate the sevenscribed marks. Center punch each scribed mark.
5. While wearing eye protection, drill two 8 mm holesthrough the front bumper. First drill with a 3 mmdrill bit, then finish with an 8 mm drill bit.
6. While wearing eye protection,drill five 10 mmholes through the five center-punched marks alongthe bottom of the bumper. First drill with a 3 mmdrill bit, then with a 6 mm drill bit, and finish with a10 mm drill bit.
7. Using a file, remove any burrs from the drilledholes.

3. Locate the four dimples at the fenderwell area ofthe front bumper. While wearing eye protection,drill a 6 mm hole through each dimple. Start with a3 mm drill bit and finish with a 6 mm drill.

9. Slide one square head bolt into each bracket onthe front under spoiler.
11. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean thefront bumper where the under spoiler will attach.
12. Position the under spoiler on the front bumper, andinstall a washer-nut to each square-head bolt.
10. Attach a strip of masking tape to the end of eachadhesive backing, then pull back 1½ to 2 inchesof the adhesive backing. Fold the ends back, andtape them to the front of the spoiler.

14. At the edge of the spoiler/bumper, loosely installthe four self-tapping screws.
15. With the help of an assistant, gently pull the sidesof the bumper around the fenderwell and installthe front bumper. If equipped, plug in the fog lightconnectors. If equipped, plug in the front cornersensor connectors. Make sure the center rubbersplash protector is above the bottom bumperedge. Reinstall the six clips, two bolts, and twoself-tapping screws to secure the bumper.
13. Secure the front bumper to the front under spoilerusing the five stepped bolts.
16. While holding light pressure on the spoiler,carefully remove the adhesive backings. Hold thespoiler firmly against the front bumper with thepalm of your hand for 30 seconds, particularly atthe edges.
17. While holding the edge of the spoiler against thebumper, tighten the four self-tapping screwsinstalled in step 14.
18. Reinstall the front bulkhead cover.

INSTALLATION
NOTE:
• To prevent damage, place a blanket under the sideunder spoilers during installation.
• These instructions show the left side under spoilerbeing installed. The same procedure applies toinstalling the right side under spoiler.
• Optional splash guards cannot be used with theside under spoilers.
1. Open the front and rear doors. Remove the self-tapping screw that fasten the left side sill panel tothe left front inner fender. Slide the side sill panelforward, then remove it by pulling it out towardyou.
2. Remove the 13 clips from the side sill by turningthem 45°.

3. On the inside of the new under spoiler, install the13 clips you removed to the holders through thecutout as shown. Make sure the clips fit properlyin the cutouts.
5. Position the left side under spoiler on the bodyunder the front inner fender, and push the clipsyou just installed into the square holes in thebody. Use the palm of your hand to click all 13clips into place.
6. Reinstall the self-tapping screw removed in step 1.
4. Remove the old seals from the 13 clips, andinstall the new seals from the kit.

2. On the inside of the bumper, locate the 13 markedareas. Using a pushpin, pierce the bumper at the13 locations identified below. Double-check yourmarks before piercing through the bumper.
1. Remove the rear bumper:
• If equipped, remove two screws and threeclips that secure the inner fender.
• Remove the four self-tapping screws (two oneach side) at the fenderwell.
• Using a clip remover, pry out and remove thethree clips along the bottom of the bumper.
• Using a flat-tip screwdriver, pry out andremove the bumper bolt cover covers, thenremove the four bumper bolts.
• With the help of an assistant, release thebumper from the fenderwell, and slide thebumper away from the vehicle.
• If equipped, unplug the backup sensorconnectors.
• Set the bumper on a blanket.
3. While a wearing eye protection, drill an 8 mm holethrough the two rear marks and the four sidemarks.
• First drill with a 3 mm drill bit, then finish withan 8 mm drill bit.
• Remove any burrs from the edges of the holeswith a file.

4. Turn the bumper upside down. While wearing eyeprotection, drill a 10 mm hole through each of theseven marks and two slots:
• First drill with a 3 mm drill bit, then finish with a10 mm drill bit.
• Remove any burrs from the edges of the holeswith a file.
5. On the inside of the rear under spoiler, locate thesix brackets (three on each side), Slide onesquare head bolt into each bracket on the rearunder spoiler.
8. LX model only: Install one spring nut to the lowerbumper hole on each side at the fenderwell.
9. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean therear bumper where the rear under spoiler willattach.
6. Attach a strip of masking tape to the end of eachadhesive backing, then pull back 1½ to 2 inchesof adhesive backing. Fold the ends back, and tapethem to the outer surface of the spoiler withmasking tape.
7. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean therear spoiler areas where the adhesive collars willattach. Remove the adhesive backing from eachadhesive collar, and attach the collar to the insideof the rear spoiler in the areas shown.

12. While holding light pressure on the under spoiler,carefully remove the adhesive backings from theunder spoiler. After attaching, hold the underspoiler firmly against the rear bumper with thepalm of your hand for 30 seconds, particularly atthe edges.
14. Install the self-tapping screws at the fenderwell.
13. Reinstall the rear bumper.
10. Position the rear under spoiler on the rear bumper,and install a washer nut to each square-head bolt.Tighten the washer-nuts in the order shown.
11. Install the five long stepped bolts through theinboard holes in the under spoiler, and install thefour short stepped bolts through the outboardholes in the under spoiler. Install a washer-nut oneach stepped bolt. Tighten the washer-nuts in theorder shown.
