What is Odyssey?

• Software used to support Language Arts and Math curriculum.

• Research based.

• Used by students in grades K-8.

• Students work at their own pace.

Why have home access?

• To provide additional learning opportunities for students – Evenings, weekends, summer

• To provide parents with the opportunity to see the types of activities students are working on and to check progress.

How does it work?

Go to http://clo.douglas.k12.ga.us

Check System Requirements

• Connectivity requirements– High speed internet (DSL or Cable)

• Hardware requirements– Operating system, processor, memory,

disk space, etc.

• Plugins– Flash, Adobe, Shockwave, etc.

• Each area should have a green check.

• Click links to download plugins.

System Requirements

• You should only have to complete the system check on your home computer one time.

• If you access Odyssey from another computer, you will need to check that system.

• You can access Odyssey anywhere you have a high speed connection and meet system requirements.

Logging In

• Your child will login as he or she does at school.

• If your child does not know his or her login, check with the teacher.

• Parents will not have a separate login.
