But while Odyssey may be good, it’s no match for Toyota Sienna. Sienna features more powertrain configurations, a more innovative interior, a stronger value proposition, a complimentary scheduled-maintenance program and more, all making it the better choice, as this Edge will show.

Odyssey has a variety of grades that match reasonably well against Sienna grades. However, the five grades of Odyssey still don’t give shoppers the range of choices Sienna offers, including the sporty SE, the all-wheel drive options and the available four-cylinder engine. Each of these is a sales opportunity for Sienna.

 Safety & Security

LED tail and stop lamps

LEDs light at full strength almost instantly, whereas filament bulbs take a short but measurable time to light up. Sienna uses LED tail and stop lamps while Odyssey uses bulbs, so Sienna brake lights react faster to driver input.

Larger front brake rotors

Sienna has larger-diameter front brake rotors than Odyssey. This means Sienna’s front brake rotors have more surface for the brake pads to grip, which can mean more consistent braking action under hard or continuous use.
