Odyssey '15Staff Development DayFriday, February 20
2
Once again I am incredibly impressed with the wide array of offerings at Odyssey. The workshops on self regulation, use of technology in the classroom, best practices in numeracy and literacy instruction, and middle school pedagogy are all aligned with recent school district initiatives. Furthermore, sessions on student leadership, aboriginal education, restorative action, assessment and even astronomy provide excellent opportunities to expand the repertoire and expertise of staff. It is also great to see so many Langley staff willing to share their expertise and passion to assist with the professional development of their peers. Thank you to all of the staff willing to make this day so meaningful. In addition, I would like to extend my appreciation to the Professional Services department for their commitment to consistently provide Langley with
outstanding professional development offerings. Have a great day!

The Odyssey District pro-d day event continues to impress the District Leadership Team with its exceptional and diverse offerings. District staff that choose to share their expertise are truly valued and when paired with other experts from far and wide (an astronaut!), our District pro-d is truly outstanding. From hands-on workshops, to opportunities to connect, collaborate and share, Odyssey 2015 has it all. Thank you for the hard work of the Professional Services team of Ngaire, Nick and Diane as they have provided some great opportunities for staff development. Whether you are presenting or attending, thank you for your participation in this fabulous District event and may it prove to be an exceptional and enriching experience!
Suzanne Hoffman, Superintendent of Schools
