VOLUME 5, ISSUE 10 October 2018

The MooseletterBrothers and Co-Workers,

October 2018. This year has truly flown by, it's hard to be-lieve that the holidays are just around the corner, but here we are, and we here at the our lodge are more than ready. Well, we will be. October is truly going to be a month for change for our lodge. You will find in the newsletter we have several important dates in October for changes hap-pening. Be sure to check the calendar and all the flyers and don't miss anything, or any opportunity to help out.

The lodge will be CLOSED on Saturday October 13 and Sunday October 14, as we will be painting in the ballroom. Please make note of those dates. We have several proj-ects happening each weekend in October to spruce up the lodge, so see any member of the Board of Officers or any staff member to find out whats going on and how you can help. ALL HELP is appreciated.

I personally want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out and supported our Benefit for The Mills, held on Saturday, September 1st. Words can never express the pride felt in our lodge from the outpouring of support. The WOTM, Moose Legion, Lodge, and countless others, along with the band, Cobalt Whiskey, rallied together and in the matter of 4 hours raised over $5300 for the family. A heart-felt and sincere thank you to everyone.

October is going to be a great month for our lodge, but it won't be a success without your support. Check the calen-dar, and read the flyers, and get involved. Your voice can be heard, that goes for both the men and women of this lodge, attend our meetings, you are always welcome. New ideas and fresh outlooks keep us moving forward, if we work together there is nothing we can not accomplish.

Fraternally yours,Donnie GibsonGovernor

Brothers and Co-workers,October is going to be busy month for us here in Ashland. Please see the enclose flyers for important dates.

We have several projects happening and will need all the help we can get.

Left Right Center, presented by the WOTM, returns on Tuesday, October 9th. Don't miss it, the fun, the food, it's going to be amazing..

You asked, we listened, and here you go......SOCIAL QUARTERS BINGO makes it debut on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6pm. Come join us for a

night of fun, and some great giveaways...

As a result of of attendance, we will not be having a planned dinner special on Friday nights in October, we will have Steak Night, on Friday

October 5th. I am in the process of preparing a new Menu for the social quarters. We understand during the summer a lot of vacations occur

and folks are out of town, with all the weekend projects and cleaning planned, we are suspending our specials menu, we hope to return to

planned menus in November, also Taco/Pizza night on Tuesday will be limited to the 2nd and 4th Tuesday ONLY. These dates will follow with

Left Right Center and Social Quarters Bingo.

The hours of the Social Quarters will remain on Summer hours for October, we will review them during the month and have new posted hours

in effect for November.

We appreciate your support and understanding, everything we do is for the benefit of the lodge and our members, we are a family and have

to work together. I appreciated each and every member of my staff, and we look forward to seeing you all in the lodge soon, and can't wait

for our sprucing up projects to be finished so we can all take more pride in our lodge.

Fraternally yours,

Eddie Gibson

Greetings Co-workers

Brothers and Co-workers,The TownHall Meetings are a place and time the men and women of our lodge get together so that everyone has access the same information. It is an open forum and is a time to get issues resolved so we all have a say in the lodge.

Held on the 4th wednesday of each month at 6:30pmWe hope to see ALL members there....

TownHall Meeting

I hope that this newsletter finds all of you are safe and sound from the bad weather we received from

Florence. She was a mean one. As most of you know we had to cancel our Love Boat dance because of

her temper. So mark your calendars because the new date is December 15th, 2018. I hope that you can

make it. Mary has worked very very hard on this and wants all of you to have a great time.

We also have some changes going on at the lodge. We are going to be doing some major painting in

the banquet room. We will need your painting skills and if you can’t paint a lick, help us move the tables

and things around so we can paint. It’s going to look beautiful after it’s done. The lodge will be close

the weekend of October 13th and 14th for the renovations. Contact Eddie, our Social Quarters Manager

and let him know if you would like to be a part of this project. EVERYONE let'spull together and

GET-R-DONE!!!

Check your newsletter and calendars for all the things planned for this month.

As always PLEASE attend your meetings and the Town Hall meeting with any and all

suggestions to make our LODGE a great FAMILY CENTER.

The Moosette for the month of October is Patricia Johnson. Thank you for all you do

In closing remember we are MOOSE ON A MISSION
