MOTHERS WITH BABIES We recommend using our
nursery. We have a well-equipped nursery with loving workers and a paging system. Nursery workers can contact you if needed. The
nursery is there for your convenience. If you need to bring your baby out of the
nursery, please sit in the cry room located across the hall from the nursery. If you need
help, please ask an usher. Thank you for

about Pastor’s radio program. He is on WTLN
94.9FM/950AM Monday-Friday from 4:00-4:30pm.

STREET MINISTRY Would you be willing to donate a case of soda or
water once a month? The street ministry needs some people to donate cases of
water and soda for the Saturday homeless lunch. See Pete Simonello if you
can help or need more information. This once-a-
month donation will be a huge

CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES As the back-to-school sales are going on, we can take advantage of these great sales for
Christmas Shoe Boxes. Here are some ideas to be on the look out for: pencils, erasers, pens, crayons, glue sticks, small pencil sharpeners, paper (for writing and coloring), washable markers, small note pads, etc. We also need small toys (cars, dolls, stuffed animals) and combs, brushes and hair accessories. Just re-member it needs to fit in a shoe box. See Amy Patterson with any questions.
SECURITY Starlight has purchased handheld radios for the
purpose of setting up a basic security system. This involves the head usher and a few other men to carry radios with earpieces. During services, these men will monitor any problems that may occur in the children’s
church, teen church, nursery, and the lobby. Each of these location will also a radio.
SIS MEETING We will be having our SIS Meeting Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00pm. Bring your favorite appetizer, a drink,
and a friend. This is a time of fellowship, food, and prayer. All ladies of the church are invited and
encouraged to attend.
INSIGHT CLASS SOCIAL The Insight Couples Class is having a Pasta Dinner
on October 21 at 5:00 p.m., in the Family Life Center. Bring French bread, a dessert and/or a drink.
