What is a soft alarm?
A condition (alarm) within the controller that allows an action to be taken. Actions could be as simple as a change in display color to direct mapping to a hard output for external control.

Currently the controller supports up to 4 hard outputs for external control. Those outputs could be in the form of relay, triac, or solid state.
