“Two Ways to Belong to America”

Get out your worksheet over “Two Ways” and pair up.

With your partner, decide on an answer and rationale for each multiple choice question.

Group with another pair and reach a consensus (answer and rationale).

Group up with another group and repeat the same process. (each group will now have 8 members)

Each group send a representative to the front of the room. These reps will reach an agreement on the class’s answers.

As we read “An Indian Father’s Plea” on pages 75-79 identify the elements of an argument and answer the Key Ideas and Details questions.
