OBJECTIVE ConAgra, one of North America’s leading packaged food companies, wanted to build brand awareness, acquire new customers and drive sales of Hunt’s tomato products in partnership with Kroger supermarkets. Specifically, the company wanted to target friends and family members of current customers, as they tend to have similar food and culinary interests SOLUTION Reve Marketing’s approach was to create a social couponing program exclusive to Kroger supermarkets that leveraged Kroger’s customer loyalty program. Reve Marketing’s solution: Made it easy for customers to load Hunt’s coupons directly onto their loyalty cards, versus having to print them out. Tied referrals to a display ad that ran on the Kroger website and other websites, adding direct response to a branding vehicle. When clicked, the branded ad unit brought up Reve Marketing’s using Facebook, Twitter or email and receive a BOGO coupon. Automatically tracked all interactions to measure program awareness, engagement and purchase.
