Tuesday, August 4, Day 1: DEPART FOR KRAKOWDepart on an overnight flight from JFK. Dinner and breakfast served on a plane.

Wednesday, August 5, Day 2: WELCOME TO POLAND – KRAKOWUpon arrival at Krakow airport, we meet our English-speaking guide who will help us boardthe private motorcoach. We embark on a guided tour of one of Poland’s most importantreligious cities, Krakow. We start the city tour in the Old Town area, with its Market Square.Visit St. Mary’s Basilica, to see the famous gothic wooden altarpiece carved by Viet Stoss.Continue to see the other impressive buildings, such as Cloth Hall, The Town Hall Tower,and Burger house. While there, be sure to listen for the ‘hejnal,’ which is a famous buglecall to the four corners of the world from the high tower of St. Mary’s Basilica. Overnightin Krakow. (D)

Thursday, August 6, Day 3: AUSCHWITZ – WADOWICEToday, we have a full day excursion to Auschwitz and Wadowice.We start the morning witha visit to Auschwitz, the notorious concentration camp from World War II, and a UNESCOWorld Heritage site. Proceed to Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, formally knownas Pope John Paul II. Visit the Museum, located in his family house, and see the churchwhere the Holy Father was baptized. Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Friday, August 7, Day 4: OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWAFollowing breakfast, we journey to Czestochowa, the principal center of the Catholic re-ligion in Poland for the last 600 years. Visit the Yasna Gora Monastery, known for theblackened picture of the Virgin Mary, popularly called the “Black Madonna.” We celebrateMass in Czestochowa. Enjoy the rest of the day for personal reflection. Overnight in Kra-kow. (B, D)

Saturday, August 8, Day 5: DIVINE MERCY – ST. JOHN PAUL CENTERToday we visit the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy, where St. Faustina lived and died. Wecelebrate Mass at the Shrine of Divine Mercy and visit the “ Have No Fear” center dedicat-ed to the life of St. John Paul. Dinner is at a local restaurant with a choice of wine or beerand a folklore show. Overnight in Krakow. (B, Special dinner)

Sunday, August 9, Day 6: KRAKOW – BRNO – PRAGUEAfter breakfast, we journey to Prague with a stopover in Brno, where we see the Cathedralof St. Peter and Paul with its 14th-century statue of the Madonna and Child, where we cel-ebrate Mass. After lunch on our own, we continue to our hotel in Prague for an overnight.(B, D)

Monday, August 10, Day 7: PRAGUEToday our sightseeing tour starts with a panoramic drive past the famous WenceslasSquare, the Strahov Stadium, and Castle Square. Then, on a walking tour, we visit theRoyal Castle of Hradcany with the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’sBasilica and Golden Lane. Cross the Charles Bridge and walk through the old quarter ofPrague to view the Jewish Ghetto, Town Hall, and the world-famous Astronomical Clock.Visit the Church of Our Lady of the Victory to see the statue of St. Nino and to celebrateMass. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city on our own. Overnight in Prague (B.)

Tuesday, August 11, Day 8: PRAGUE – ALTÖTTINGFollowing Mass this morning, we depart for Germany. Upon arrival, settle into our hotel inthe Altötting area. Overnight in the Altötting area. (B, D)

Wednesday, August 12, Day 09: ALTÖTTINGWe enjoy a day in the Marian pilgrimage shrine of Altötting, also known as the Lourdes ofGermany. We visit the Chapel of Grace, one of the most visited religious shrines in Germany,where we see the Black Madonna. Celebrate Mass in Altotting and visit St. Conrad’s Monas-tery and the Panorama of Jerusalem. Have time to explore the lovely little town and relax inthe afternoon. Overnight in the area. (B, D)

Thursday, August 13, Day 10: OBERAMMERGAU- THE PASSION PLAYWe celebrate Mass and depart for Oberammergau early this morning. Explore the village onour own with an opportunity to purchase woodcarvings the village is famous for. Followinglunch, we take our seat at the Passion Play Theater for the highlight of our trip, the world-fa-mous Passion Play. The play has a running time of approximately five hours with an intermis-sion for dinner. Overnight in Oberammergau area (B, L, D)

Friday, August 14, Day 11: NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE – MUNICHWe board our motorcoach and drive to Fussen, where we have an outside view with an op-portunity to take pictures of the castle, which was an inspiration for Cinderella’s Castle inDisney World, the world-famous “Neuschwanstein Castle,” built by King Ludwig II. Continueto Munich, where we celebrate Mass and have time at leisure to explore the city on our own.Tonight, we have a lovely farewell dinner in a typical German restaurant with a choice of wineor beer and music. Saturday, August 15, Day 12: RETURN TO THE USAAfter breakfast, we are transferred to the airport for our departure flight back to the U.S.A.(B)

Deposits and final payment: A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 per per-son by check should accompany the enrollment form along with your option-al travel protection payment, if purchasing, and a copy of your passport picture page by January 24, 2020. A second deposit of $1000.00 is due March 24, 2020. At that time $1,500.00 is non-refundable. Final payment is due by May 4, 2020. A late payment fee of $100 will be charged per person for all registrations received after the final payment date. Baggage: Each participant is permitted to check (1) suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one small carry-on bag on the plane. Airline baggage fees are not includ-ed. Please check the specific baggage fees on the airline website.Airline, seating and special requests: The seats are assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific seats. You may change your seat, provide mileage program information and passenger contact information directly with the airlines once the ticket numbers are received. Business class and premium coach seats are available upon request as are add-ons from your home-town airport.
